Mail in ballot in CA.
Mail in ballot in CA.
I have waited for hours researching local judges and others that supposedly are non partisan. It takes me 5 minutes to fill out my vote by mail ballot and walk my postage paid ballot to my mailbox. I get notified the instant it gets received.I like going in person, somehow I feel it’s important to do in person. I never have to wait more than a handful of minutes to vote in person.
Takes me (ignoring walk from car) three to five minutes to vote.I have waited for hours researching local judges and others that supposedly are non partisan. Huh, does the mailing date depend on county? I've already got mine.As soon as I get my ballot next week.
I've literally never voted in person, seems like a pointless hassle.I like going in person, somehow I feel it’s important to do in person. I never have to wait more than a handful of minutes to vote in person.
So you're waiting until the last possible moment. Great plan.In person, day of.
And showing ID.
For me it involves driving less that two miles down the road in my head it’s one stop sign and one traffic light with four left/right turns.Huh, does the mailing date depend on county? I've already got mine.

Dunno if it has a specific name, but we have the same kind of system in WA where we can track the progress.Ballot mailed to me on the 4th.
Received, completed, and dropped in the mail on the 5th.
Registered as collected by USPS on the 8th.
Ballot received and counted on the 10th.
BallotTrax is great.
TBH we have never had an honest election thanks to the electoral college that was put in place so slave states could get representation for their slaves without actually giving them the right to vote.In person early voting in CT is from Monday, October 21st through November 3rd. We were the 47th jurisdiction to allow early voting-it required a state constitutional amendment which was voted through in 2022.
I'm both a former poll worker and a poll watcher I enjoy voting in person if possible. One moment that was personally touching to me was in 2000 I was a poll watcher and a middle age lady asked me to take a picture of her and her sister-they were newly naturalized citizens and wanted a memorization of the first time they ever voted in an honest election.
