Ryzen 7 5800HS with 12GB Memory - 512GB SSD
I found myself looking at this laptop, and found a single open box one in the next state, about 45 minutes drive. I figured it would be worth it as a Christmas present for my daughter, since it is about 5X as fast as her old current laptop.

Both RAM and SSD are rather on the small size, but easily upgradeable. Although several items seems to say that 20GB is Max RAM, I've found a few places that show you can put a 32GB sodimm in there. I can do that, and upgrade to at least a 1TB SSD, and it should be a nice laptop for her to use in her last couple of years of college.
Now I just need to find some decent deals on a 32GB sodimm, and a 1TB SSD.......
