I loved the forums there. There was a time when the technical talk there was very on point, even more than here for a while. Than all of a sudden the forums got shut down without warning. Shitty move and without an explanation

I got suspended in their forums for posting a game review. Some Commie was a moderator there. So it was going downhill already before the forums were shut down...

That would just be a common curtsey. OTOH, there has been very little material to "share" lately.

For example, the latest article, does one have to subscribe to get a code name for future generation of server CPU?

MLID can give you two code names for that one particular CPU, then, exclusively report that one of the two was cancelled, and do it all for free.

This is a level of competitiveness in nontent that semiaccurate just can't compete with.

No, there isn't.

These are the same articles as appear on the public site, with exception that the non-subscriber can only see first paragraph or two, while a subscriber gets a few more paragraphs.
