I mean its not impossible to count to 4500 nuclear warheads. The tricky part is probably counting those under water ... but crack that and Russia is not worth the pixels this is written on.

I had to do a double take about that lol. I was like “wait what are you on about”.

Anyone who thinks that Russia stands a chance are deluding themselves. Every single S-400/300, etc. site would be knocked out within hours to days. We would have air superiority where our B2s/21s would bomb away. Our F35s would buzz around unimpeded and our F22s would smash anything they could put in the air. Overmatch in every possible way. The only real thing protecting them is their nuclear weapons stockpile.
Imagine looking at Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, seeing Russian casualties (so far hundreds of thousands), seeing US casualties (so far: 0) and saying with a straight face that Russia is destroying the US military.

It shows the massive inferiority complex Russia and their stooges like @Young Grasshopper have. They desperately want to be a peer to the US.

Sorry bud, you have a very, very long way to go. You just aren’t good enough.

^^^ They don't get that all they're dong is blowing up our old expired junk and saving us money from storing or decommissioning it.
It is frankly hilarious how proud Russia was of destroying 30 year old American castoffs. I imagine that was purely for internal consumption because to the rest of the world that's just embarrassing.

Remember, @Young Grasshopper, the US has destroyed more Russian equipment than we could possibly count. We don't display it though because we don't think destroying Russian equipment is an achievement worth noting. Makes you think, huh.

Yup. As I think I've mentioned before when I was in Russia people would not believe that the average American almost never thinks about them because they think about us constantly. They simply couldn't handle the ego hit from the idea that we don't care about them.

This is why I think Russia rattles the nuclear saber so much - it's the one thing they have that forces other countries to pay attention to them and in the end the main thing they want is attention and validation. It's a sad state for a country to be in.

Parallel universe: Putin never gets in power, Russia becomes a free democracy and actually is a powerhouse economically and intellectually, while also having a better equipped and trained military.

I’ve always believed there is potential, it’s just squandered in Putin’s authoritarian kleptocracy.

I think the Russian national psyche simply isn't built for this obviously much smarter and better path. Putin is a symptom of this not a cause.

How did those fancy bombers and F35s work against the Taliban?

*crickets*

The old US shit doesn’t work in modern war(Ukraine) and the new shit(Afghanistan) doesn’t either.

Lots of tough talk coming from a country whose ally is getting crushed daily while they just sit back and watch. Like Biden has said over and over again, ‘we don’t want war with the Russians’. You can’t really blame him for not wanting escalation when he sees how much Ukraine is getting pummeled.

BTW, regarding the F35 we talking about this same F35?

Also:

The testing report showed that engineers are still trying to correct 845 design flaws. Their challenge is compounded by the fact that new problems are discovered almost as fast as the known flaws are fixed. Many of these “deficiencies,” as the Pentagon prefers to call them, have to do with cyber vulnerabilities. The F-35 used to be frequently described as a “flying computer,” although that happens rarely today. The reason is simple: one of the aircraft’s biggest weaknesses is its vulnerability to cyberattacks. Three testing directors in a row have warned about the hacking danger, but many of their concerns have yet to be fixed.

Not to mention the overall cost, and the fact that they can barely get these junk planes off the ground.

lol. Do you write these fantasies to make yourself feel better, comrade?

We're coming up on the 2.5 year anniversary of you declaring the war lost for Ukraine and Russia today controls less of Ukraine than it did when you made that prediction while suffering so many casualties that it's suiting up grandpas to go die in a ditch.

You have to admit that's pretty funny, as it's always great to see Russia getting exactly what it deserves.

This is awesome and I imagine @Young Grasshopper will ignore it because he has two choices:

1) Agree with Putin that Russia cannot match NATO
2) Criticize Putin

lol. Come on, Grasshopper! Is Putin stupid or is Russia unable to match NATO?

How many stealth fighters does the Russian Armed Forces have? How many? How many SU-57s are there actually? Single digits at most and would be wiped out immediately by F22s.

Oh wow there was an issue with ONE F35 almost two years ago. Arguably the most sophisticated version of it because IT CAN HOVER.

You clearly have no clue what the fuck you're talking about tankie. Your precious missile defense sites would be crushed into oblivion. Then we also have F15s and F16s and F18s to fly all around with not a missile targeting them from below. Nigh a F35 or F22 would probably be touched (you know real stealth fighters).

The fact that you think a country that spends less than a fifth of the US on the military each year would even stand a chance, just shows you're oblivious to factual reality. You are wasting your time spewing pure drivel to get shot down by all of us., just like your Sukohis and MIGs get shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"...ally getting crushed..."

Delusional to the fullest.

What is funny is you completely overlook the ultimate cluster fuck the Soviet military has been over the years

There is a YouTube channel that talks about the fuck ups the Soviets have done over the years. It is called Paper Skies

For example

Btw. How old is a F22?

And no one can especially Russia cannot even come close to touching it

That's actually the problem and why NATO is trying to stay out of it. Russia is so overmatched they would be forced to go nuclear if they faced NATO. Of course they can't win a nuclear war either but at least then everyone loses.

Indeed. The NATO countries walk over egg shells to avoid coming off as threatening; even when a Russian drones encroach on their airspace. Though really they should be ready and willing to at least shoot those down.

The only way for Russia to be freed from Putin is his military and security apparatus refusing to prop him up any further. Unfortunately a bottom up revolution looks impossible.

Cyka displaying the ravages of a copium addiction once again? Sad.

Told you he was steamed about nuclear capable F-35s doing their big exercise. The butthurt, the denial *chef's kiss* I like how he still revels in his insurgency ignorance, proper Clausewitz isn't he? Too funny. Twice as many Russians dying twice as fast in Afghanistan weighs on him, which I think is lovely.

It's embarrassing to hold Russia up on a platter, then see their front line stuff still get blown up by obsolete American gear, or even damn near fossils like the Hawk AD system. Odd that he chooses to pile on the embarrassment the way he does. Gotta make those rubles though. Cyka's got his eye on a stick of gum.

Speaking of F-35, seems there will be more stuff for Russia not to worry about thanks to an uptick in production

"Lockheed Martin is making good on predictions that it can deliver F-35 fighter jets at a rate of 20 per month, helping clear a backlog created by a yearlong hold on deliveries that was lifted in mid-July.

The contractor has also increased its estimate for how many F-35s it will deliver in calendar 2024.

A Lockheed spokesperson said that at the end of June——before the delivery hold was lifted—the company had delivered 990 F-35s. By the end of September, that number had risen to 1,040. Now, it is above 1,060.

“We have delivered 60+ jets in three and a half months,” the spokesperson said. She added that while the original delivery estimate for calendar 2024 was 75-110 of the fighters, Lockheed is revising that figure upward to 90-110, “based on deliveries so far” this year. That would indicate deliveries of between 15 and 23 more jets per month by Dec. 31."

*womp womp* Putin would give his left nut for that kind of production.

Stealth, Meteor, Mako, a buffet of sensors, EW and death Russia has no real analog to or strategy against. If you need any ideas of what is possible, look to what Israel is doing with Adir over Lebanon and Iran for a bit of a clue.

The best way to provide insight on the quality of Russian military equipment is to see how many contracts were cancelled by those who have the option to buy western equipment. Btw Russia used to have some of the best scientists and engineers in the world until they decided to kill, imprison or chase them away. And what do they do at the start of the Ukraine war when they discover how far behind their equipment is - they kill, imprison or chase away even more scientists and engineers. Of course they are a failed society run by a paranoid lunatic.

Nope, I expect cyka will ignore it like the last time a video of Putin scoffin at the idea of fighting NATO was provided to him.

He's here to piss away his self respect, and gobble Putin's nuts. And he's alllll out of self respect.

Pretty much, though when a country inks a deal for a fleet of aircraft, subs, tanks, whatever, they are also agreeing to a long term support relationship. It's not just the quality of the product in question, it's that country's ability to reliably supply specific parts, weapons, lubricants, training and software that is factored in as well. Russia does worse here than fighting Ukrainians. Sanctions, domestic brain drain, political isolation, corruption making everything worse - on top of how much lauded Russian weapons have been exposed as shit. 20year old Patriot taking out the fabled Kinzhal and Iskander, talk about embarrassing. Putin needs another coup attempt to get that taste of NATO dick out of his mouth.

The only area Russia still kinda leads is EW, won't be for long though. Didn't save their share of global exports from getting chopped in half, and continuing to fall.

Macron: Je bois votre milkshake!
