So, my earbuds have been working fine, but then I went to the bathroom and went out of range of my laptop (using Windows 10). The earbuds disconnected, but then ever since, my bluetooth doesn't seem to be working on my laptop.
I tried disabling and re-enabling the hardware. Nothing. I tried rolling back the driver. Nothing. I tried to update the driver. After rolling back, it said it updated, but still nothing.
The device manager says my bluetooth is supposedly working correctly on my laptop, but as soon as I try to connect a new device (to try to re-connect my earbuds), it immediately gives me a notification that it can't connect. It doesn't even try to.
In the "bluetooth and other devices" section of settings, I can't even choose connect or remove device for my earbuds. They're greyed out.
I went into the notifications tab (bottom right of the screen that looks like a chat box), and tried to make sure my bluetooth is enabled. It's not even showing up in there, even though online, that's one of the troubleshooting suggestions it gave.
I have no idea what else to try here? It's so weird that it was working fine, I go out of range with my earbuds, and now, the device manager claims my bluetooth device is working fine, but it won't do anything at all, and doesn't even seem to be showing up in Windows. I'm open to any suggestions any of you would have to try to fix this?
