America is a fundamentally broken country filled with more disgusting people than anything decent. That's a fact.

I truly feel for all the decent people left here. The media is to blame for their obscene both sidesing coverage of this race. The only hope in a democracy under attack by constant misinformation and hate is the truth, and the media failed to provide it. Kamala had to be flawless while Trump could be lawless. That was the best quote.

Anyone who voted for Trump is your enemy if you have any decency left inside you. It's time to fend for ourselves.

I knew this country was sick, but I had to think positive. This country is just overall gross. I weep for my nieces.

Bottom line as @K1052 said earlier, it isn't just a bad loss for Harris/Walz. Dems got smashed up and down ballot, all over the map.
Losing MI by 6 points (if the margin holds)? You can't even say with a straight face that Harris/Shapiro would have done any better if the Blue wall crumbles across all 3 states.
At this point, it seems likely that Trump sweeps all 7 battlegrounds, which nobody predicted.

An absolute catastrophe.

The red wave predicted for 2022 finally happened. Harris was just too closely tied to Biden's policies, and to her credit, I guess, she refused to throw him under the bus. Things might have been different if Biden had bowed out earlier and the Dems had held a true open convention and perhaps come up with a better candidate not so closely tied to Biden.

The main lesson here is that you must listen to the electorate. I don't think Harris was a certain loser tonight, I thought she ran a good campaign.
Where we failed is we refused to believe the voters when they trashed the economy (inflation) and then linked that to the migrants problem because DJT told them so. Yes it's a bunch of disinformation but if people are voting based on that disinformation, then you've failed to properly change their minds.

We've known for over a year that "Bidenomics" has been largely rejected by the populace, but Dems never disowned it. We insisted that the U.S. economy is the envy of the world (which it is), but that doesn't matter when Joe voter thinks he can't afford stuff.

Yea, I said a long time ago that the Dems have lost touch with the working class and the common man. You can blame the media, Biden for not dropping out sooner, or a myriad of other reasons, but I think the Dems have to re-examine their message and the way they deliver it after this debacle.

For a woman candidate to have a chance in the future, the candidate will probably need to have built her campaign/movement from the ground up as her own, instead of getting "promoted" from the 2nd place behind a man. It is not a must, but it probably helps. A LOT.
