Yes, they may do that, but I doubt Congress will matter much for long. Anything Trump cannot accomplish by legislative action he will do on his own, through the executive branch. Whether it is legal or not. Trump does not consider himself bound by law. And why should he? He will rule as a despot practically from day 1 this time around. He and his oligarchs will rule this country for their own benefit.
This is, after all, a large part of what Project 2025 is about, expanding executive power and removing checks and balances that could prevent it.

Keep speaking that truth, shout it from the roof tops, make it the fundamental issue in 2028. Put every one of those dumb fucks in their place and make it clear their day is done. I'm behind you 100%.
Which candidate threw insults every chance they got towards anyone who didn't support them, and which candidate was respectful towards the other side and tried to reach out? Which one of those won?

Giving them good policies didn't change their mind. I think at this point the only choice is to let a lot of the Trump regime happen. Sometimes folks gotta learn the hard way.
My point is, they don't fucking learn. At least not for more than a couple months. 66% of people in Nevada said they were better off 4 years ago, when Las Vegas was basically shut down. If people can even remember what COVID did to us and Trump's piss poor handling of it, I have no hope that this spanking will do the trick.

-It's important to remember that a lot of people see Covid as the "plandemic". Most people didn't see or know someone who died, so they attribute all the issues to the government response to prevent people from dying, rather than the virus itself.

People remember where they were 4 years ago, they just think the Deep State/CHYNA/Fauci were the masterminds of their pain.

Should we ignore the sitting president calling half the nation garbage? How much do you think that helped Harris?
Smug superiority isn't a popular demeanor, it doesn't play well and is usually rejected.

But we shouldn't just be blaming the garbage supporters. Just like 2016, a lot of people just didn't vote. How the hell can 20 million people just sit it out? The orange monkey lost 5+ million RINO votes and gained some via the bro vote.

At least the 3rd party vote wasn't the difference in any state.

You're a clown. The fact that you can just hand wave away all the Republican bullshit to focus on a single comment from Biden is all the proof we need.

Yup, I used to be the liberal who said we shouldn't insult conservatives too much. You can find my old posts from 10+ years ago saying that very thing. But Trump has proven beyond any doubt that civility is an ineffective political strategy with this electorate. We are a fearful people; we are a hateful people. Only by tapping in to that can you win anymore. Unfortunately, we are realizing this only now that it is too late.

Both Sides.

Which candidate was respectful towards the other side and tried to reach out?

Neither Side.

Which one of those won?

Republicans.

I'm sorry but you don't think Trump is smug? I don't think I've seen anyone more smug than Trump in my life. I think you're doing a great job of proving my point that Democrats and Republicans are held to wildly different standards. Obviously it hurt Harris, while Trumps nonstop insults help him.

Anyways, which candidate won the election, the one who constantly belittles and insults people or the one that tried to reach out to the other side?

You think Harris and Trump are equally insulting and belittling to the other side?

Wolfe is correct. Why do you think Trump insisted on putting name on the checks? Held them up so they could be reprinted.

He knows the public at large are kinda stupid. That includes black people.

Well life is hard when you are stupid... Regardless of what color you are.

You're being called names because of the people and policies you support, things you can actually control. We're being called names because of how we were born, something we cannot change. Insulting a person because of their skin color, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation, is not the same as being called a bigot for supporting bigoted policies.
That's your justification? Who on this forum called you names for your skin color, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation? I didn't see any of those posts. You and the others in this thread know nothing about me, yet some felt compelled to attack me and others personally. All I did was point out that the personal attacks on this forum were one sided. Again, the party of love and tolerance shows none towards others that have a different perspective, despite them not attacking you personally.

When did Trump show support for this 2025 Project. I remember him stating exactly the opposite.

Former President Donald Trump denied any connection to Project 2025, the handbook for a new conservative government written by the Heritage Foundation and several right-wing think tanks, in his Sept. 10 debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I have nothing to do with Project 2025,” Trump said in the ABC News Presidential Debate. “I haven’t read it. I don’t want to read it purposely. I’m not going to read it.”

Oh, you're butt hurt over comments from random posters on a small tech forum that no one cares about. Well, sorry people hurt your feelers, I've never seen your name before and have no idea who you are. Life outside of this forum is much more important to me, that's what I'm talking about. Of course this forum is one sided, it's dominated by liberal computer nerds, who fucking cares? If you need a safe space from mean liberals go to truth social or /r/conservative.

I'm certainly not going to go on a conservative dominated platform and act shocked when they say mean shit about liberals.

Yes I think Trump is smug. It's something that I have never liked about him. I would also prefer he not make some of the comments that he does. I believe some of those comments only bring divide to our country. In no way is he perfect. His opposition made comments as well. That's the type of stuff I wish both parties would leave out. It doesn't help us in any way shape or form. If anything it just pushes people away unless you like the drama.

You fucking disingenuous dumbshit. Where were you the 7,000 times Trump called other people things like humans scum and actually threatens some people enough that his minions left them death threats and had them actually need to hire security guards. Don't expect sympathy here with your fake outrage at the mean old Democrats.

At this point I merely hope that Trump voters get exactly what they voted for, and that Trump immediately enacts the policies he said he would. I would gladly face hardship for a while if the Trump voting dumbfucks had to suffer for their poor decisions.

Fuck that. Adults made a choice. It was their choice and the results are their responsibility.
Yup, adults made a choice to keep a white man out of prison. 70% of female voters in Georgia voted to keep a white male felon out of jail.

Every time they talk about crime, it's a false dog whistle.
