I know they increased TDP from 65W->120W so they can increase clocks, but I question If It was really worth It.
We'll see. I thought I was dreaming when I bought 4 7800X3D's under $250 (including one below $200) between last November and May of this year. A year from now odds are extremely good that there is a Micro Center discount on these that's well below MSRP. Its hard to say how much longer 7800x3D remains in stock. It seems unlikely they'll keep producing it and it will probably go back down in price (at least at Micro Center) very soon. There might not be many of them around by the end of next year.Your dreaming, a deal on this chip. Hell nah. It’s 2 generations ahead of Intel.
The 7800XD tho absolutely, but by then it should be mostly clearance deals for zen4x3d.
