Wow, the insanity of how many I see in the mid west and there's literally zero in So Cal. I knew some locations still offered it, but I had no idea it was that many! The closest to me is 265 miles.

This is sad, I know it's not a mind glowingly good item, but I remember it well and it always hit the spot after a few brews.

Wanna meet up at the one in Bishop?

I've heard of Bishop, but I don't know anything about it. I'm assuming there's absolutely nothing to do there. As much as I miss the Chillito, I don't think taking a trip to Bishop to get one is worth it. And driving 300+ miles to get a Chillito sounds like the plot to some dumbass TakTaker Influencer video.

Bishop is okay, not too far to Mono Lake, Devil's Postpile, Death Valley, and Sierra hiking access. If one is traveling north - south in California, it is a good route for avoiding the Central Valley traffic.

Actually ended up having Taco Bell this weekend, modified some cheaper menu items to be what I was after. Tried "Omar Apollo's Disha Hot" sauce. I guess he's a musician or something? Anyway, I thought the sauce was fairly good, and would pick up a bottle if that was a thing you could do.

Wendy's Frosty tag

Not going through 92 pages to see if this has been mentioned, but end of this month should be when Wendy's $3 Frosty Key Tag goes on sale. It was $3 last year. Dunno price this year. That $3 gets you a free Jr. Frosty with any purchase every day until the end of the following year.

And, if you need a justification for this, 90 percent of every tag sold will benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

You should be able to buy actual tags in the restaurants, at drive-through, via kiosk, or at website. A digital tag can be ordered through the app or website.

This summer they had a dreamsicle frosty that was scrumpdillyicious.

Awesome deal, and it supports a good cause. And since Wendy's is named after Dave's adopted daughter I know that foundation is the real deal. And IMHO Frosty's might be the best fast food dessert. Thanks for the heads up I'll be buying one of these even if I don't end up using it.

Speaking of questionable food choices made from questionable sources, the McRib will probably be showing back up again soon.

Had a Popeyes chicken sandwich recently. Been probably a year, laying low with fast food for some time. It was spectacular. Crunchy, tender, juicy, airy, delicious. Impressed with their chicken sammy.

I think they're pretty tasty, and I was into them when they were $4. Now they're $6 and I don't eat at Popeye's anymore either.

When they're good, they're amazing, the 4 Popeyes in my area according to Yelp

1.8/5
2.4/5
1.6/5
1.3/5

And these are with 200+ reviews, to have a 1.6 with 419 reviews really says a lot lol. Every meal there's a roll of the dice, but when they hit they hit. And to have 1.3 average is dastardly. That has to be in the running for the lowest rated food place in my town lol.

I have 1 within a 50 mile radius that I know of. I'd rate it a 1.3 at best.

Jersey Mike's has a Pastrami sandwich, pretty good. It has grilled onions, melted Swiss cheese and pickles.
