It’s done all the time by all parties and it was done because Biden understood that representation comes from shared perspectives. You didn’t understand this because you’ve fallen for right wing propaganda where every issue is turned into something it’s not.
OK dude, whatever you say. Just keep living in your bubble and go on believing the dems underperformed in every category except African Americans because of right wing media and the uneducated, deplorable electorate. That is a sure way to win back votes.

IMO it doesn't matter and there's nothing Kamala could have done to win. People were convinced that the economy is terrible and they voted on that. Never mind that inflation is back down to normal, gas prices are back to normal, the stock market is at all time highs, wages are up, and unemployment is down.
I retired before the pandemic. My wages (retirement) haven't kept pace with inflation, don't care about unemployment. What hit me most was the increases in home and auto insurance along with the increased cost of hospitals and medication.

Would Biden's appointee get approved? We know what happened with Obama's and it had much more time.
Dems still control the Senate. Saw an idea floated get Sotomayor to retire and replace her with Kamala Harris.

If not Harris SS needs to go before Jan 20.

Ok, and inflation is back down to right around 2 percent.

Did you move all of your investments out of stocks? The market performed better under Biden than it did Trump. https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/01/investing/stock-market-biden-trump-democrats-republicans/index.html

Meh, but that is exactly the case. I don’t give a shit about winning back votes so I’m happy to say the problem is that most people are complete fucking morons. Let them eat their shit sandwiches.

He can literally send Seal Team Six to murder his enemies per Sotomayor's legal opinion. I find it impossible to fathom that he won't use his newfound powers to commit more and worse crimes than he already has before he was 100% above the law. It sounds so naive to act like this is just losing another election. We weren't lying nor exaggerating when we called him a threat to democracy. I'm saying this man will take over the nation because the final check and balance against him gave him free reign to commit any crime he wishes.
I fully agree that this is the worst POTUS election result in our lifetimes, probably ever. However, my hope is that the situation doesn't degenerate into a worst case scenario. AFAIK, Trump has never committed murder or instigated it and I hope he does not going forward. Absent that, there's hope for us. He also appears to be hesitant to get us into a war.

It’s not just one man though, it’s thousands of people who are willing to protect Trump who are in various positions in politics and institutions. Hell, do you not remember that a Trump appointed judge basically threw a case for Trump? Hitler gained power because those in power didn’t think he would be as bad as he was if they placated him. We are in an almost identical situation and it’s crazy to see people completely unaware of history repeating itself.
Like I said before, USA today <> Hitler Germany. Our economy is light years ahead of Germany's in the 1930s. They were desperate, we are not. We are highly disgruntled, which is different.

A "listener email" on the BBC's Americast podcast just suggested that Biden should step down and make Kamala (briefly) the 47th president. For no other reason than to oblige the Trump campaign to have to reprint/remake all their merchandise to change his number to 48.

(Strikes me it would also save the US the embarrassment of still not having had a woman President, 45 years after Thatcher was elected).
Great ideas for sure! Wouldn't want to articulate those reasons for the public, must manufacture (or acknowledge) Joe's needing a couple months early retirement for whatever reason. I hope it happens. All is fair in love and war ... and in modern day American politics, it seems. Kamala = 47 won't get her on Rushmore but it's indelible nonetheless.

So, if Biden resigned and Kamala took over for a couple of months, would they both get full presidential pensions and other post office benefits?

Bolded statements are in direct opposition. Campaigning with Liz Cheney is as moronic as moronic gets but of course the dipshit Harris and the DNC thought it was a great move. And pulled out big names? Who gives a shit about celebrity endorsements?
There were it seems dozens of Republicans who worked closely with Trump in his 45 term who declared him unfit and dangerous if he returned to the White House.

In reality that's true, but millions of Americans are convinced our economy is literally the worst it's ever been.
They are dumb asses. The Great Depression makes today's America look like Disneyland (pardon me, but I haven't been there for decades or any amusement park, actually). Also, I have never been to Appalachia. I was in Omaha for a few days way way back when. Anyway, AFAIK, 1930's America was extremely desolate compared to today, those long bread lines, massive unemployment.

Then how do you explain that so many people vote against their own economic interests and their own rights?

Do you think it's because they have the right information?

Donald likes to identify with extremely rich and powerful people. I figure that's set in stone. Should already be carved into his tombstone.
Donald likes to pretend to give a shit about rich people so he can take their money and watch them cuck themselves into bankruptcy and prison.

On that, I do enjoy watching the Don work.

Especially when they proclaim that their vote is for their best personal interests when in reality it's not. Badly informed people.
