Exactly, giving them citizenship results in upward wage pressure since citizens can't be threatened with deportation (at least until January!) Which is the only way to keep employers from exploiting them. Especially since Republicans will never vote to punish the employers that hire them.Also completely ignores the fact that democrats want these people to have a path to citizenship, republicans use them as a bogeyman and then turn around and hire them to save money on labor.
