What's most important for a lot of them is to lash back at their critics turned enemies, never mind that there is no common sense reason to elect Trump back in office. It doesn't HAVE to make any sense at all. That's become abundantly clear over the years that Trump was rightfully targeted as Public Enemy #1.
With the GOP's successful efforts at brain fucking the deplorables <--(oops*) into die hard militant supremacists, anarchists, insurrectionists and being openly racist about their affections for their own racist Trump, along with the holier than thou political activist Christians that include among their flock the LGBTQ bashers who think being that way just ain't right and don't deserve to sit at the table with "normal" humans despite their scripture describing that all of humanity are God's children, the Repub spin machine has pretty much covered the gamut of demographics that can be seduced into their bigoted way of thinking.
I look at what Trump and the Republican party has done to fill the masses with hate. fear and suspicion of their fellow Americans in order to seize power for themselves and it makes me more sad than angered of it all.
