I don't necessarily have a problem with direct marketing. I don't think doctors are as informed as people might think they are (and doctors and whatnot watch TV and read), disease awareness campaigns are important for conditions not previously treatable, and part of it is empowering patients to learn about therapy options for their conditions.- RFK isn't the worst choice if he stops direct marketing by pharma to consumer and while it will probably have some rough consequences for food deserts eliminating SNAP purchases of processed garbage.
