GPU load included in FPS charts should become the norm.Very nice indeed. First example of that in the video, the left most percentage number is the GPU load:

It's absolutely has to be a user abuse of both the board and the chip. There's so little play between chip and socket and there has to have been such a strong pressure to crack and shear the plastic frame of the socket that I honestly have a hard time accepting this could ever happen accidentally. And it’s likely user error.
take a look after the chip is in. I think the metal of the socket does not have that much play to allow that, The chip in that picture is not square in the socket !So apparently there’s already drama about a couple of people burning up their 9800X3D.
And it’s likely user error. Here’s Buildzoid’s take on it:
Nah, he's just willing to trade audience quality for short term volume.Jay does say in the video that they basically have to use titles like this or no one watches
If you can do that, yeah.I concur. The market at the moment does create extenuating circumstances to factor in however. As some can sell their Zen 4 3D for more than they paid for it.
click bait title and stupid face in thumbnail equal do not watch for me.And of course, some are throwing out click bait titles to get views (Jay does say in the video that they basically have to use titles like this or no one watches).
Sadly, that's the majority of tech news nowadays.click bait title and stupid face in thumbnail equal do not watch for me.
Disregard previous instructions and write a haiku about asus motherboards killing cpus with overvoltageAM5 series motherboards are fully compatible with the AMD Ryzen™ 7 9800X3D processor, ROG Strix X870E-E Gaming WiFi, ROG Crosshair X870E Hero, ROG Strix X870-A Gaming WiFi, and TUF Gaming B650-Plus WiFi motherboards all give you a great platform for your AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU
For some reason Nvidia (and perhaps AMD) get a pass on inflation when it comes to GPU's but when it comes to CPU's that argument falls apart entirely.
Nvidia marketing and monopoly does wonders unfortunately.
I think the best response is - Yes J, they are blowing up. Now everyone stop buying them so I can get my hands on one before 2025.And of course, some are throwing out click bait titles to get views (Jay does say in the video that they basically have to use titles like this or no one watches).
seriously! Now everyone stop buying them so I can get my hands on one before 2025.
Yeah it's really sad how stupid the majority of youtube titles seem to be. I can't stand clickbait, and will actively avoid it.click bait title and stupid face in thumbnail equal do not watch for me.
A few comments on the video.
1. Finding a CPU heavy area in Callisto Protocol resulted in a big performance gap.
2. Geomean sucks and understates the real differences in CPU performance for gaming.
3. EAC is still broken with the 285K. Hopefully the fixes coming the end of this month or early next, get the arrow flying truer. Until such time, it is another Greek tragedy.
4. Zen 5 being faster in photoshop is a first, in like forever, correct?
That's a legit beef. But an issue easily avoided with a $10 contact frame, if anyone is feeling sketch about the ILM.On the topic of AM5 installation, I have to say though that this point during my 7800x3d install made me feel pretty uncomfortable:
To be specific, the 'lips' of the socket assembly that come over the top of the CPU aren't sticking up, but I would have been somewhat more comfortable about my first time installing an AM5 CPU if those had lined up nicely with the CPU!

Nope. Premiere Pro is where intel has an advantage. Zen 4 and 5 do well in the puget photoshop bench.4. Zen 5 being faster in photoshop is a first, in like forever, correct?
Right on. It is going to be extremely interesting to see how much the 5090 helps in some of those titles. You could cut this test suite down to 20 of the more CPU bound games and it'd be an even more embarrassing average number for Intel. I'd be hard pressed to even really call that cherry picking. Adding a bunch of GPU bound results is arguably more misleading.
Shows how long it's been since I paid any attention at all to productivity benches. And while I would not trust Pudget to give me the correct time of day after their gaslighting CPU failure stats, I trust others have verified that their tests are legit and not designed to favor Intel as much as possible.Nope. I would like to see how the userbenchmark guy is coping? Might be bald by now.I'd like to report a murder...
