I think this is really good news. Didn't know ASUS had it in them to do good for the enthusiast community on such a level. Very commendable.

Good on ASUS but somebody stop them naming things, it's always either cringe, bad or both.

It basically reduces noise on the traces for unused dimm slots.
So it should benefit overclockers who only populate 2 of 4 slots, in theory, but is unlikely to make much difference if all 4 slots are populated.

Almost seems a RF blocking DIMM cover would provide the same or similar result.
