Hit and a miss. Read up on Orwell's experience during that war. He learned the hard way what the communist were all about. The communist were and have always been brutal murderers.
Okay, troll. Orwell is literally telling you himself where he stood and you won't acknowledge it, and in 1946, just a few years before he passed.

Troll, troll, troll your boat.

If he was born in the UK he obviously didn't assimilate. Diversity isn't the strength that some would have others believe. Even worse is the cover up that happened after the fact. Not the first time for the UK. Rotherham comes to mind.

Perfect! You just set the bar for your own deportation. The US doesn’t need YOUR kind here so when they round up your ass for failing to properly assimilate, you’ll know why.

Since @AG907 brought in George Orwell I did a quick lookup of his messaging. Read this list and tell us where the threat lies.

Lesson 1: The Dangers of Totalitarianism

The primary lesson of 1984 is the dangers of totalitarianism. Orwell’s vision of a society where the government controls every aspect of an individual’s life is a warning against the perils of absolute power.

Lesson 2: The Importance of Individualism

In a society controlled by Big Brother, individualism is suppressed, and conformity is enforced. 1984 demonstrates the importance of individualism and the need for individuals to resist the pressure to conform to societal norms.

Lesson 3: The Power of Language

In 1984, language is a powerful tool used by the government to control the population. The manipulation of language and the creation of new words are used to shape public opinion and control the narrative.

Lesson 4: The Dangers of Censorship

In a totalitarian society, censorship is an essential tool to control the flow of information. In 1984, the government controls all sources of information and eliminates dissenting voices to maintain its power.

Lesson 5: The Importance of History

In a society where the government controls the past, the people become slaves to the present. George Orwell emphasizes the importance of history in 1984, highlighting its ability to teach us valuable lessons from the past.

Lesson 6: The Dangers of Technology

In 1984, technology is used to control the population, and the government has access to all forms of communication. Orwell warns against the dangers of technology and the potential for it to be used to control and manipulate the population.

Lesson 7: The Dehumanization of Individuals

In a totalitarian society, the individual is dehumanized, reduced to a mere cog in the machine. In 1984, Orwell emphasizes the importance of preserving our humanity and resisting the dehumanization of individuals.

Lesson 8: The Role of Fear in Totalitarianism

Fear is an essential tool of totalitarianism, used to control the population through intimidation and manipulation. In 1984, Orwell highlights the role of fear in a totalitarian regime and the detrimental impact it has on people’s lives.

Lesson 9: The Need for Resistance

In 1984, Winston Smith resists the power of Big Brother, knowing the consequences may be severe. Orwell emphasizes the need for resistance in the face of tyranny and repression, even when the odds are against us.

Lesson 10: The Value of Freedom

Above all, 1984 is a testament to the value of freedom. The book demonstrates what happens when freedom is suppressed, individualism is thwarted, and dissent is silenced. It is a powerful reminder of the need to cherish and protect our freedom, even in the face of overwhelming opposition.

Is that were he learned Arabic or was it the TV.
He wasn't Arabic. His parents weren't Arabic. His grandparents weren't Arabic. AFAIK he had never been to an Arabic country and I've seen no evidence that he was a Muslim (not that that matters, being a Muslim isn't illegal).

Are you disputing that he was born in Cardiff or that his parents were Rwandan?

Interesting. Our new friend signed up on Thursday and started posting at 8PM last night for the first time in select P&N threads. Postings are every few minutes and still going strong. That's 16 straight hours of posting in P&N. It's either multiple people sharing an account or a bot. AI-assisted trolling?

I would love to get the IP addresses of the posts to see where they are coming from. My guess is a data center hosting site in someplace like Texas.

Pretty safe to put that thing on ignore.

Good god. You need to understand the difference between the socialists and the communists to understand where he stood. But I guess that that's the kind of learning that's going to threaten some deeply entrenched views you have.

Or just ban them. I like seeing how “they” “debate” though because the social media ecosphere uses the same style and talking points. Once you counter one troll, it’s easy to counter others, other than the sheer amount of them that there are.

You’d think people like pcgeek and greenman would see such accounts and postings and start to question whether or not they’ve been had by these same trolls. But introspection isn’t a common human trait.

He's a terrible troll. He needs to do some basic research before he starts bringing things up!

I disagree. The goal of the troll isn’t to create discussion, it’s to make discussion impossible. Basically you flood the zone with shit and wear people out. 16 hours of trolling, mostly while the US is asleep should give us a clue that they aren’t American. The other clue was their knowledge of other countries whereas a majority of Americans severely lack knowledge of anything outside of the US.

At this point I’m just trying to figure out if he’s Russian or Chinese or something else.

Hasn't posted an response in 20+ minutes. Either quitting time or realized they have been outed. A bot would keep going and ramble on about existentialism and the universe.

I agree, it's just that willful stupidity offends me!

We should poison his inputs and ask him about Putin's gay affairs!

Almost bedtime in Moscow. Even a sock puppet needs to sleep.

In the future it'll be an "AI" bot but we're not quite there just yet.

MAGATS think serving in the military is great, until you remind them that soldiers fight for their freedoms which includes speech, religion-including a lack of, and your willingness to fight for others to freely express themselves whether they are gay or weak or a different color. In other words, to ensure the Constitution is followed for all Americans.
