The BoA up the street from me charges customers if they want to go inside and cash a check with a teller. I understand charging a non customers to cash a BoA check someone gave them. But to charge their own customers is pretty damn wild. I never understood how banks and credit card companies will charge their customers a convenience fee for doing shit that will make the bank money. Wanna pay your credit card bill on the phone using our automated system? Sure, it'll cost you $4.95 though.

flew to Wisconsin for a work visit yesterday on United.

Watched Saturday Night (good flick) on my iPad on the first leg to Denver. Put the iPad in the chair sleeve. Walked off the plane without it.

Filed a lost item report with United. Hope the flight attendants found it when they cleaned out the plane since I splurged to sit in 1st class.

Yeah I would find another bank. Switching banks is a pita though, but it's worth it. I went from a big bank to a credit union years ago and couldn't be happier about it. Better service and no nickle and diming you at every step of the way.

Got an eye exam today, I'm tired of wearing glasses so I was gonna get contacts. But due to some sort of degradation they found in my eye, they said no to contacts. I asked what about Lasik, nope to that for sure.

So that means I'll be stuck wearing glasses forever, BOOOO! I hate people with 20/20 vision, damn perfect vision mafuckers!

On the plus side, my new worsened eyes gave me an excuse to get some Ray Ban Meta glasses. And now I can find some pervy shit to record with them, and I don't mean hiding and recording females, that's shitty shit. I mean finding some willing participants.

Onlyfans here I come!

Sucks, I hated glasses so much as they constantly got smudges, or reflections etc and were just annoying, also constantly getting foggy, and any sort of activity that involves water was out. Was nervous about getting LASIK but glad I did.

Wonder if PRK might be an option? That's more invasive though so guessing not.

I asked about the Lasik alternative, I didn't know the name, guessing it's gotta be what you mentioned. She said that's worse than Lasik lol. And since Glaucoma and cataracts are hereditary and my dad had them, I probably have at least one of those to look forward to lol. And the last 5 years of his life he had a form of Glaucoma where he had to get monthly injections in his eyes. He said he couldn't even feel them, but the thought of a needle going in my eye balls every 30 days sounds rather unpleasant. The injection thing was fairly new and the doctor said 15 years ago he would have went blind. So maybe with technology a Lasik alternative will come out that I can have done. Or I can just wear glasses like tens of millions of Americans.

I wish I had saved up and got Lasik when I was younger and my eyes were still healthy enough. I see a lot of horror stories about it online, but the people I know who had it done all are glad they did. On the bright side, if I do go blind before I die, or become legally blind, by then self driving cars might be at a level blind people can use them ha.

I got a new 512GB microsd card for my phone, and it's taking forever to transfer the old data to it, and I cut it back to 165GB. It's anywhere from 1hr to 4hr to transfer it all depending on when you look at the progress bar :^/

This is a tomorrow firstworldproblem, but I'm calling it now. UPS NEVER comes early, I have a morning appointment and a package that requires a signature. 100% they're going to fuckin come early for the 1st time in a decade. And I can't even switch the delivery method so I can go pick it up at a UPS store because of a restriction the sender put on it. I won't be here Thursday and I'm pretty sure after the 2nd delivery attempt UPS sends it back as undeliverable. Hopefully I get a UPS driver who doesn't do their job and leaves it anyway lol.

I thought you got three attempts total? I've had that shit happen to me though. UPS is late every time except when I have to sign, and then they're bushy tailed little squirrels that get in early, and bolt as fast as possible :^S

For some reason out of the blue I decided I'd buy Ray Ban Meta glasses, I got em today. They're cool, but I don't know what the hell I'll use em for. I'm pretty sure these are meant for bloggers and influencers who are always taking pics and videos and shit. I take like 2 pics a month and never videos. Looking at random shit and asking Meta what I'm looking at seems pretty neat but I'm sure that'll get old quick. I've had them an hour and I'm out of ideas. I mean I do need glasses to see so I guess it wasn't a total waste.

Also, Meta is going to track everything I do now, I literally paid for Facebook to invade my privacy 100%.

Hesitated, thought about it overnight. Decided to go with it. Now priced at $34.99, no coupon offer showing and you have to be a member to get that price.

$15 higher than it was is not 'exclusive' to me.

I just saw my network pegged, and it turns out it's megasync. For some reason, it picked a random folder on my work computer to start syncing as a subdirectory of megasync. I'm not at work to see what the hell it's doing, so I'm just watching my folder at home fill up with shit I don't need. I'm curious where it's gonna end, but if it gets too crazy, I'm gonna have to shut it down.

Last batch of updates have made it act weird. It's cool cause I got a lot of storage free, and it's convenient for work stuff, but I may have to bail on their proprietary shit, and just use my nextcloud account.
