Going to be interesting when swing voters experience real inflation.

Companies are just going to raise prices because they can point to tariffs too, even if they are not really directly impacted. There will also be no consequences for them to just rip customers off because what are they going to do under the new (non) regulatory environment. They're just gonna tell people to pay up and get fucked. Consolidation coming for their wallets as well.

I dunno what's more sad.. America being the best country on earth for 800 people or,

American infrastructure being so bad that it can't even provide it's people with clean drinking water through their taps!
Water is clean in Fort Worth. Although I have an undersink filter for extra protection.

Nevertheless, sanitation problems worldwide result from overpopulation IMO.

So, not directly related, but I just found out about "Trump Guitars". Looks to be probably a $200-300 guitar with a MAGA neck inlay and flag decal being sold for $1500. Unless you opt for the Trump signed edition, then it's $10-12,000.

I have a confession to make..

I worked an entire summer as a kid and bought a Jackson Kelly in 1995 for $900. Loved it.. used it for 10+ years.. couldn't find a buyer for it for a long time.. sold it in 2014 for $650.

In retrospect I would have been happier with a $300 Ibanez or investing that $900 in stocks.. lol

Clearly Trump's targeting the "we are stupid" crowd! Maybe I'll see them at a club complete with Trump sneakers, Trump watches and Trump guitars!

fundamentally untrue. It's well known that when people are polled on issues and policy and results, The plans, message, and the actual results of policy from Democrats (you know--because democrats actually do things) are roughly 65-70% favored across the population. When the very same policies are then tied to democrats vs republicans, the favorability craters among the very same people.

Do you understand what this says?

Well from what you said (IF True) they like the policies just hate the democrats.

wow! This is the like, the 2nd time you're finally starting to think about things properly! Congrats!

Now, let's go further. So, people "hate the democrats," but they love what they want to do and what they actually do.

Why do you think people hate the democrats? What is their motivation and where did this come from, especially if democrats actually do the things that they really want?

Are you single intent on staying single?

Because anyone with a family or a live in signficant other would not be asking this question..
I'm from the UK, I grew up in a family of 6 and I have never seen a 60-pack of eggs in a mainstream supermarket here. I just had a quick look at the Tesco website as well: 6 and 12 packs are commonly available. Maybe 24 packs are available in another mainstream UK supermarket?

60 packs... is that for when you absolutely positively have to avoid shitting for like 2 weeks?

No 60 pack is for when you don't want to drive through 1.5 hours of NYC traffic each way just to get to a walmart everyday and generally want to stock up for 3-4 weeks.

BTW have you seen the sheer size of American refrigerators vs those sold overseas? We tend to stock up and other countries keep minimal things in them!

So different culture and btw I usually buy 2 60 packs at once.. 1 60 pack is gone in 10 days tops if not earlier in my family.

Half the point of living in a city is not having to live like you're in a rural or suburban community. You don't have to "stock up" for the month because small, local trips that you walk to a store for are a lot easier

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the size of their egg cartons but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.

1.50 hours of NYC traffic? Isn't that like 1.5 miles?

Fix NYC traffic especially the BQE, Belt Parkway, Grand Central, Van Wyck and the LIE and it will happen!

But is it strictly just hating the democrats or is it just the low information voter falls for all the lies the orange monkey tells?

@mikeymikec

I was looking at this:

So people are complaining over

£

1738 annually.

Hmm here I'd say we're at $5000 average..

In the summer we need air conditioner so $370 electric and about $70 gas.. in the winter we need heat so $140 electric and $370 gas per month.

So our energy prices are more than you.. averaging $450 a month and that's just one 1430 square foot home.. more if someone needs a space heater or has bad insulation!

Lets see how much that goes up with Trumpflation!

@Indus

I think there's too many factors at play to make a fair comparison about home energy usage. I don't know whether it's a fair yet sweeping generalisation to say that our homes are probably generally built to withstand low temps better than yours are, and I think our temps are milder than yours. Aircon in UK homes is very rare in my experience; my parents had an aircon unit in the conservatory because otherwise it would heat up to an obscene degree in the summer. On the other hand, many places in the US seem much better suited to having solar panels.
