Being fairly new to Linux, is Arch really that hard to install and run ..?

Good day,

I'm fairly new to Linux. I have been using several systems so far.

I have been distro hopping quite a bit and I'm loving learning how to take control of the PC, use the Command line, etc.

well that said - i call me a novice.

Being new to Linux, is Arch really that hard to install and run ? whats your opinion?

If you want to learn and you're doing this on a secondary system where you can afford it to be non or partially operational at times, you might find it fun. If it's something where you need most things to work properly out of the box, Mint Linux is a better bet.

very good idea - great advice.
i will install it - and yes: i will do this on a secondary system -(and notebook).

good method to digg deeper into that. and to learn.

I mean you've learnt the first and most important lesson about running Arch!
You've told everyone that you are running Arch!
And yes it's a PITA!
