both my case and cooler came with the NZXT ARGB / RGB controllers, and i think I can connect 3 plugs into each. The only other thing I need to add is 2- 140 RGB fams for the bottom of that case, most likely I use the NZXT fans the duo or the core just have to figure out which one will fit and look the best, the 3 fans in the front of the case are not RGB I'm going to leave those for now and put RGB ones in at a later date.
I put the 7600x/ Tomahawk in there as I'm 99% sure thats what i'm going with 463 for the combo just can't beat that price right now. that board has
2x Addressable V2 RGB LED connector and 2x RGB LED connector so hopefully that enough
My daughter has a 7600x with an ID Cooling SE-226-XT cooler. We have PBO enabled and CO set to -20. She's a gamer and her temps are 60-70 while gaming and watching a YouTube video at the same time.so circling back to this, this is the only thing i don't like about 7600x temps and wattage.. Have you ever played around with the PBO settings. It looks pretty simple to do to change the PBO,, throttle limit and back down the wattage and test it in between each. Should I expect to see high temps like 80's 90'5 while gaming, or that be more heavy multi-threaded deck top programs? Everyone seems to say it the best bang for your buck chip right now
What about the 7600 at 65 watts, do they run the same high temps? I would guess not, but they don't preform quite as well as the 7600x either.
For just over a 100 more I can get into 9600x and b650 Tomahawk board, for 200 I can get into a 9700x and a b650 Tomahawk board. the 7600x and B650 Tomahawk is by far the best value, but the other options maybe a better produce but not as good as value.
Or I could hang on until Xmas and hope the 9700x falls a bit in price, either way I most likely over thinking it lol

AMD runs hot and Intel doesn't as much.
If you have a need for the higher sku's then get one and outfit it with dual fans on the cooler. If you don't then get something milder and forget about it.
65w vs 125w isn't a huge leap unless you're going to engage the CPU with something demanding.
My 7900X is hovering around 40C using a PA120 w/ dual fans.

When it come to AMD though new boards usually means new problems to deal with and die hards I've seen use them for several upgrades. As to current 670/870 the only material change was making USB4 ports mandatory and maybe a modest boost in ram speeds supported out of the box.New board, to take full advantage of a new CPU

No Its not bad, Newegg has the best deal right now I think, B650 Tomahawk and 7600x for $463 I went to buy one Sunday but at checkout they try to sneak on $30 shipping so I said FU lol , but today I see they lowered their shipping to $11, that makes the tomahawk $239 7600x $235, so that pretty goodThe MSI Mag B650 Tomahawk is $240 CDN here.
