Instead of service-specific threads, we can probably get away with consolidating them here?
It's a little early for BF, but Peacock has started its discounted offering (actually they run the $20 price point throughout the year). I under-utilize all my streaming subs, but I think this is a good value if they have something you'll watch (NFL, WWE?). I probably got my $20 worth last summer with the Olympic Games in Paris.

I had just canceled my last annual sub from 11 months ago, but I guess they'll get me for another year.

I just tried this set of codes, and even though its in the window, it doesn't work for me. Perusing the thread suggests that the number of offers ran out.

My Peacock and Hulu subs end on the 22nd and 23rd of this month.

Paramount plus w/showtime ends in Dec. and I need to renew it this or next month. HBO ends in Dec. but I'm not renewing it.

If there are no deals this year I may just get a good VPN and go nuts.

For Paramount Plus, sometimes you can get deals by starting the cancellation process.

Also, if you have an AmEx card, some of them have targeted discounts (as a statement credit) for Paramount Plus (I've also seen them with Chase cards) - I believe I saw it on my wife's AmEx. For HBO, if you have it through a Disney bundle, some AmEx cards also have a statement credit for subscribing through Disney+.

Thank you! I only have a capital one card and chase/amazon card.

Paramount has monthly free codes but you would need two accounts and would need to log in each account every other month which seems like a pain or let the code expire and renew. Probably not too bad if you can log in via PC instead of a device. example: https://slickdeals.net/f/17801343-n...ing-service-trial-1-month-free?src=SiteSearch

Walmart+ sub is currently half off at $49 and I think it has 6 months of Paramount+ w/ Showtime. https://slickdeals.net/f/17849292-1...49-via-walmart-valid-thru-12-2?src=SiteSearch

Paramount Plus
Comes free with Walmart+ and they're $49 thru 12/3 for a year. Plus you get free delivery from stores for other stuff and free shipping.

I tend to just capture stuff thru Plex and maybe fire up Pluto or other free options and DL using duckytv.

I find we just rotate our streaming services - usually have 1 core one and the others change up as we decide what we want to watch. I have no desires to sign up for Walmart+ for personal reasons.

Well that was dumb of Peacock. Roll out a promo early, then nuke it. My hunch is they will roll it out again for Black Friday.

A year ago I was expecting streaming deals to dry up but the services surprised me by having good BF promos. I'm hopeful that will happen again soon, although I'm actually indifferent. With all the promos, I subscribe to several services and end up under-utilizing them. Right now I have a MAX annual sub that ends in March, but I haven't touched it at all except to stream CNN last Tuesday.

The best deal to get P+ was to get SportsLine. Please do your own research, but I don't think they've closed the loophole yet, but I'm not sure. I'll link to the last time there was a deal. I clicked through it now and it would be $40 for one year (see end of thread for new code). People are saying the "cancel trick" gives you 3 extra months too.

I had this back in 2022, and my bro-in-law did it a year ago (is that why yours ends next month?). Note there's always a risk that they will remove the P+ loophole later, but it hasn't happened after many years. Caveat emptor.

I saw the sportsline deal/s in the past but I didn't get my sub from that deal. I can't remember what I paid for Paramount plus but I grabbed it with others during last year's BF deals. I will be patiently waiting for more deals this year. I'll look at the sportsline deal if nothing comes up.

Twisters is streaming on the 15th with Peacock and Alien Romulus on the 21st with Hulu. I hope to watch them before the subs end.

I started to cancel the $.99 Hulu deal from last year and they gave me the option of paying $2.99/mon for 6 months so I took it.

I got the same offer when I cancelled. I have two accounts for hulu and my old account has been getting emails with that same offer. I'm still going to hold out for an annual deal since I have a bit of time

From my email:

Offer for Hulu (With Ads) plan only. $2.99/month for 6 months, then auto-renews at then-current regular monthly price, unless canceled. Cancel anytime. Redeem by 12:00 PM PST on 12/4/2024. Offer valid for eligible returning subscribers only. Not combinable with any free trial of the Hulu (With Ads) plan or any other promotional offers or pricing; not redeemable via gift card. Any plan switch after redemption of this offer will result in forfeiture of the discount pricing.

I had the $2/mth and $2/mth for Disney that just expired. They offered the $3 deal but i declined since I figured there's be the better deal for BF. What I'm really waiting on is the HBO MAX deal for 6 months.

* Starts 11/25 @ 12am ET - Peacock 1-Year Subscription $20 (new subscribers)

1 year for $20
you can also do monthly for 6 months for $1.99/month

new subscribers only

If it requires a new email, I might just skip it and save my $20.

As an aside, the SportsLine/P+ deal thread had a code for 3 months for $5 (then cancel trick for 3 extra months). I might have to do that one...

Also hoping that Hulu will do something for a full year again.

I thought they stopped doing this. At one point, I had free Peacock, and then they pulled it at some later point.
It's usually time-limited. IIRC Spectrum gave me 6 months for free, but that was eons ago.

Another way to get Peacock Premium is via Instacart+ for $19. Of course, that could end up costing you more if you actually use Instacart...

Just checked and my Peacock still works. It's the ad based version. I'm in an area where Xfinity is the only available internet other than 5G so maybe they are tossing us a bone.

My rather vague recollection is when I signed up (over a year ago) there was no end date set but Xfinity's terms allowed it to cancel Peacock at any time.

I checked too, but for me, it said the lowest reward tiers did not qualify, and I don't subscribe to gigabit service.

My sub ended a couple of days ago and I was able to re-sign up for $20 using the same email.
