Just remember Trump promised the war would end Jan 21 2025. Of course the value of a Trump promise is....
He actually said he would be able to end it BEFORE he takes office.

Blackmail suggests that Trump could possibly be shamed. I doubt there is much he could have done that would move the needle for his supporters.
Just like his replacement for Obamacare. He will be releasing a very beautiful peace plan in two weeks.
Nah, it’ll be a concept of a peace plan.He will be releasing a very beautiful peace plan in two weeks.
Nah, in this case, he has his bestie Putin finalizing the plan right now ~ so Trump merely needs to rubber stamp it.Nah, it’ll be a concept of a peace plan.
Probably. I was just making a play on his own words during the debate with Harris.Nah, in this case, he has his bestie Putin finalizing the plan right now ~ so Trump merely needs to rubber stamp it.
Quick question for you military nerds...how realistic/unrealistic was the ending of Guy Ritchie's the Covenant?
I thought it was solid. Definitely worth the watch.Haven't seen it yet, but we're talking a Hollywooded up version of Matt Zeller's terp asylum thing right? I watched the trailer. I guess you can't make a movie out of Matt making angry phone calls and doing paperwork for years, right? haha yeah I'll watch it
Coming from a military enthusiast but didn’t serve. The ending in theory could happen. But it depends on what exactly you’re referring to.Quick question for you military nerds...how realistic/unrealistic was the ending of Guy Ritchie's the Covenant?
We have failed to uphold our end of Ukraine's nuclear disarmament.1) Respect Ukraine's independence and sovereignty in the existing borders
I mean the Angel of Death part.I thought it was solid. Definitely worth the watch.

I'm curious-why didn't you include what I see as probably most significant, which is the post Soviet Union collapse negotiations between USA, Russia and Ukraine to remove nuclear weapons from Ukraine (it had a lot of USSR missile silos and equipped nuclear missiles. Those negotiations result in tri-party signed agreements to remove the nuclear weapons, destroy them (with USA and Russia actively participating in that destruction) and both Russia and US agreeing not to attack or invade Ukraine.
Can you elaborate a bit more please ? This all makes this thread a lot more interesting instead of the disturbing posts to me like :Governing and anti-corruption standards.
I'm no currency trader but isn't that a massive shift? It's devalued ~8% against the dollar in the last week.$1 = ₽108

The Russian reserve bank has relaxed some currency restrictions on its exporters. They did this since Putin wants more Rubles from its oil and gas exports. Unfortunately it also screws importers and therefore the man on the street.I'm no currency trader but isn't that a massive shift? It's devalued ~8% against the dollar in the last week.
The Feudal Age died in Europe a fair while back for the betterment of human kind. The rise of the middle class (thanks to the Black Death) gave us the Renaissance and the Industrial revolution. It also gave rise to America, as the middle class had the means to buy passage to the new colonies. As a sidenote :
I remember how a Duke in Britain was extremely wealthy and kind of took care of the peasants.
Like he created a sort of welfare system by creating food reserves and other reserves for the people as well.
Although a single group of people where the Duke was the highest in rank, made all the decisions. The peasants had a good life.
It was a sort of democracy and welfare system when there was no work to do, like farmers not being able to grow vegetables in the winter.
Like a ruler with all his followers...
See where i am getting at ?
