Looking for an Android phone asap. My budget is 300 - 700 Euro.

5G
Extra Large screen but thin
Slow battery drain
Stock Android preferred
Bloatware Free
Dual SIM (Physical and / or eSIM)

Couple of phones I have in mind as a result of googling are the below :
Google Pixel 8 PRO
OnePlus 12R
NothingPhone (2)

Any thing else?

Let me know any suggestions you may have please...

I use an op11 and it gets the job done. Haven't really looked at the 12 but it should be just as good.

Google feels cheap in the hand and is slippery to keep ahold of.

Haven't bothered with nothing since thurr using older HW still and working out the kinks.

Best bang would be the 11 since it's priced lower now and has all of the same tech as the 12.

I have a OnePlus Nord 3 to return. The OS is absolute bull shit. For eg. I searched for disabling Wi-Fi calling by using the keyword "wi-fi ca" in the settings, but nothing came up in the search. Many of its advanced functions are hidden. Have to go down hierarchically in the settings to find what you want.

So prefer stock android, which is clean and simple.

welcome to the forums.

I haven't looked at mobile phones in a while, but also consider Pixel 8a?

OnePlus Nord 3
Can't speak for those models but, if you really want a stock image there are ROMs that strip things back. The downside is some of the security bound apps won't work or will error due to the rooting of the ROM.

I used to have a Nexus 6 and it was nice not to have to strip away bloat but, at the same time the HW was lacking. When the Pixel models started coming out I went and tested one and they felt like toys. Even kind of like an iPhone knockoff with their design. It's all personal preference though. The 11 was a draw for the first model with 6ghz wifi and esim. What's nice though is 2 psim slots and esim. Of course you can only have one of each active or dual psim.

IIRC wifi calling is in the developer options along with some of the more obscure power user options.

So Pixel 8 PRO would support 3 sims? - 1 Physical SIM and 2 Nano SIMs?

Or 2 physical SIMs and 1 eSIM?

Any current dual sim should support at least a nano+esim.

When I say psim it just means nano. On op phones you have room for two nano sims in the tray. When you turn on esim then slot 2 goes offline.

I haven't looked up the specs on Pixel though but, I would think it's 1+1 as not many phones have a tray for dual nano these days.
