IMO you don't get to the point of "YOLO let's vote for the biggest nitwit in the room" without first eroding the basis of democracy for generations. As an American, I believe our downfall to be the inevitable result of the Internet... simply existing.The UK is maybe one or two election cycles behind the US in our descent. Well, that’s good of him. Of course, he could just be lying to get approval from the GOP. He’s been very consistent in his hatred of vaccines for years now, and you don’t just turn 180 degrees on something like that in a matter of days. I mean, what has anyone said in the last week or so, that he wouldn’t have already heard, and dismissed, years ago? Well, “Back off on polio or we won’t confirm you” fits that bill.
None of the candidates will say anything close to controversial now or in a confirmation hearing. They have all learned from Trump that you can lie without any consequences.
