For all the complaints about "Dems doing stuff wrong", it seems that many don't feel the need to promote things that they're doing right when it comes to messaging.

You can't just be negative on everything ("not like that"). You also have to reward the things that are right.

The Dems were scared to promote anything to the left of what Bill Clinton would do in election season because they think they're going to convert Trump voters. I have been furious the last year about how they never talked about the $2000 yearly cap to Medicare Part D out of pocket expenses that was part of the Inflation Reduction Act. I can't think of a single issue more important to the highest turnout demographic than are we going to be able to afford our meds. You say voters don't care about policy but the Dems didn't even fucking run on that policy that they should have been screaming from megaphones nonstop on both traditional and social media the entire year. They do one really awesome thing and they won't even take credit for it and think they're better off trotting Liz Cheney out there to show how trad Republican they can be.

Well dude, we have two political parties in this country. Not a lot of choices - so yeah, I hate them both, but for wildly different reasons. Not that crazy to not like two of two parties.

The Trump party is pure evil, the Dem party is outdated, out of touch, and feckless, but still good people overall. So like I said, very very very different reasons.

I do like some Dem pols, but absolutely none of the leadership at all.

On the one hand, I get it. Political capital is finite. Even moreso as the minority party. On the other hand, letting the zone flood with bullshit means you might never get out from under it. And I think that's a bigger threat right now

Whether we and you like it or not.. I think you have to accept that Trump won 2 terms because of either 1 of 2 things:

1. The Dem party chose to run 2 women and the country doesn't trust women in power.

2. The Dem party chose to cosy up to corporate interests and billionaires and say fuck off to those Americans wanting jobs with a living wage in favor of cheap migrant labor.

You can blame Biden all you want but it won't get you anywhere.. you have to understand this miscalculation is DELIBERATE because its what their corporate donors tell them to do!
