Ehh I give up on pc gaming, Switch 2/steam deck here I come.seems very demanding 4k/RT ultimate/Transformer/DLSSQ
Transformer too much eating fps
It can end. Just turn off raytracing.Like where does it end, you have state of the art hardware and game devs stuff up.
Make GPUs great again! It can end. Just turn off raytracing.
This is an observed issue with the 4090/80 FE series, & esp seen when PCIE risers are used. Reviewers have been reporting instability to their Nvidia reps. It may be the off PCB signalling due to the modular I/O & PCIE PCBs.
Nothing at first, because PCIe 5.0 poses considerable challenges to signal integrity due to its high data transfer rates, especially in conjunction with additional components such as riser cables or internal connections within the graphics card.
Wouldn't be too surprising at this point if the future Nvidia merchandise is a fancy bag to compete with Prada made of the same leather that Jensen wears to grace us with his presence, and the "slots" reference when it comes to graphics cards also refers to how many slots in the new bag it takes up that you use to carry your RTX card when going to your friend's LAN party. This leads to a fundamental debate about prioritizing design over function. While appealing looks and innovative form factors are important, “form follows function” should be the top priority.
Well we had a Rage comeback with Fury/X, just that it wasn't very good.
Honestly sounds like fake scarcity to pump up fomo.Availbility will be...low, especially on the 5090
980ti was just better.Fury was great but 4GB VRAM was way too limiting for a Halo product at that time.
The world is bigger than just US...What's the minimum production lot at TSMC - surely can't be less than 1000 wafers? There should have been 50-60k 5090 level chips minted long time ago, where are they?
Maybe NV should hire Tim cook??? I never seen Apple with a paper launch for any of their products. This company sucks at inventory handling, and its worth $3T lolol
Nvidia "AI" chips are limited by HBM availability and advanced packaging, not by N4 class process.they seem be allocating the wafers overwhelmingly to their insanely profitable AI chips

Perhaps Nvidia fully realises this is a junk gen and will go to Rubin on N3 in 2026 anyway
Rubin got pulled into later this year because pretty clearly Blackwell in general is having issues, N4 is just not enough for it.Maybe Q4 2026. I expect a fairly normal 18-24 months life cycle.
