Not every day, for sure, but not rare either. I grew up 15 minutes from there. Look on a map of North America, focus in on the most western of the Great Lakes. That is triangular Lake Superior, and right above it is a large Lake Nipigon. The Nipigon River flows south from Lake Nipigon into Lake Superior at (you guessed it!) the town of Nipigon, and Lake Helen is basically just a wide section of that river just upstream from the town. In this area there is a LOT of bush (forest) and rocky hills, and few large clear spaces for an emergency landing. A snow-free paved highway is the only reasonable place sometimes! That would not do, though, for a larger plane. As you can see, the wingspan of this one just fits the road width.
