Best they can do is track the funds and freeze out the wallets. Ethereum isn't quite as decentralized as it used to be . . .I wonder what the chances are of tracking down and recovering the funds from wallet. Might be possible for some agencies, but if the source were in North Korea this would make it very difficult.
