I think he strongly dislikes Trump and wishes he weren't president but I'm pretty sure he stated he voted for him and, more importantly, to the best of my knowledge did not attempt to whip conviction votes after the 1/6 coup attempt (and did not vote to convict). We got an email, Monday if I recall, from our person at CMS that they had been instructed to go communication blackout with states. No timeline to reopen communications. Sucks when we have waivers and various things in process.
Anyway, I do wonder how much worse CMS is going to get now. There are so many nightmare things that can happen with no oversight from Congress and the courts...
