If that was the style of message pictured, I thought they need to be specific to lead to charges (like, "I'm going to go to your house and do X" and not "something bad should happen to you"). Otherwise, half of what's left of Twitter should be locked up because its a bunch of Nazis throwing around vague threats and wishing people harm. As long as the insurrectionist-in-chief goes free, logically any "free speech" is fine.
Logic has nothing to do with it of course: It's legally OK for the GQP to threaten people, but it's not OK to threaten the GQP. Plus if the roles were reversed, the outcome would be a foregone conclusion.
PS: I'm not suggesting that a comment like that should be weighed exactly the same depending on if some random person or a person with power and influence. People in offices of responsibility should be held to higher standards IMO.

I don't have any answers, just questions. The biggest question is why anyone wouldn't want this looked at. If the system isn't working correctly it should be fixed, if it is working correctly and not producing errors then we move on.I see that the expert db and Cobol engineer understands exactly how the government data works and how data that might be 100+ years old or fragmented and so missing birthdates should produce "errors". In what why should it produce an error? Who said that it doesn't? In one of the sources here it was mentioned that the issues are known but would cost between 5 to 10 million to fix and it was deemed not worth it. It's clear that the relevant data for people who actually receive data is verified seperatly. Are they supposed to halt everything until this data is fixed?
