Doge published a report. That is how incompetent they are. The general consensus is that they screen scraped budget numbers for different departments. That's how they ended up with bad numbers like not being able to distinguish $8B from $8M and not knowing that many numbers scraped were multi-year budgets that were already partially complete.

While I have no proof to back this up, I know if I believe Elon's an actual genius. The clip of him getting stoned off his ass on Rogan's podcast and laugh while Joe was trying to shoot his bow and arrow into a Cyber Truck made me wonder. I can't imagine Neil Tyson Degrasse doing that shit lol. And now he's confusing $8 million with $8 billion? That level of incompetence doesn't seem genius like at all. DOGE is already exceeding my shitstorm expectations for fucking up. And somehow when the voting time comes the GOP will happily vote the fucker in and make his position official.

Now I think about it, I bet it would be hilarious to see Neil high as shit seeing how he already talks endlessly.

Thanks for telling me DOGE published the fuck up, that makes it so much more hilarious, I wonder how the MAGAs will spin the blame on the MSM or somehow say it was Hunter.

Assuming they only pay taxpayers, $5K X 170M people is $850B. I think DOGE report said $50-60B in savings so even if their numbers weren't bad they still need to save another $800B before they can even think about cutting checks. Once again, Elon shows he can't handle simple arithmetic.

If the checks are really coming, I could actually see Elon hax0ring into the voting machines to figure out who voted for Trump. With them only sending them to the MAGAs, as the rest of us are the enemy by Don's standards. And us in Cali, even the MAGAs probably won't get shit.

Still enjoying how the OP can't stick up for his position with any facts. Just turned tail and ran.

Though I have some good news for him: https://www.propublica.org/article/trump-climate-change-social-cost-of-carbon-executive-order

Trump is pushing policies that will push the external costs of climate change-driving industries onto individuals and away from the industries themselves. So at least he'll be able to have his cheap fossil fuels to live in his unabomber hut in the frozen northern wastelands.

Living on the gulf coast I already pay thousands a year in windstorm and flood insurance.

Also spent $$$ on a whole home generator because of our shitty power grid and power loss risk from hurricanes.

I look forward to everyone doing the same as climate change makes storms stronger and more unpredictable. It’s worth it so that the price of eggs will be cheaper.

I've never seen any convincing evidence that he's a genius.

I thought his position was that the "people have spoken" with regards to the presidential election? What is there to defend?

Hang in there man, in just under 4 years the orange demon will be on the way out.
Little solace as the Trump and his lackeys shred the Constitution and congressional Republicans forsake their oaths. But please, give more platitudes.

You should be thrilled. You're finally getting what you wanted from all these years of supporting and voting for conservatives.

Objection.

The people have NOT spoken. This is fucking insane.

Voter suppression by spreadsheet. One MTG operative in Georgia challenged 30k+ voters by simple turning in a spreadsheet with black people on it.

I am getting what I wanted. Oversite on government spending, controlled immigration, merit based government hiring. I have concern that the Trump crew is using a hatchet where a scalpel would be the proper tool, but going overboard seems to be the very nature of our government.
I don't like the way some of his ideas are being handled, but the alternative was more of what wasn't working. Over thirty trillion dollars in debt is a problem, illegal immigration is a problem, government agency's blowing through billions of dollars with little to nothing to show for it is a problem.
All that said, a well spoken moderate democratic could have beat Trump, but instead we had a man who was clearly unfit for the job who was dumped for a woman who couldn't form a coherent sentence.

^ The nazi has his just so story worked out for rationalizing his choice to join the nazis. Reality is a very different place than the world the nazi made up in his head so he ignores it and lives his pathetic fantasy life while children literally die as the outcome of his actions.

merit based government hiring.
LOL

You've looked at Trump's nominations and this is what you see?

Sec Def who was a staff officer who's medals are nothing more than participation trophies and a drunk to lead an organization of 3 million people?
New Joint Chiefs chair who's primary qualification appears to be feeding trump bullshit that IS could be defeated in a week instead of 2 years and wore a MAGA hat when Trump visited him?
A new head of the FBI that has zero law enforcement experience?
A new Sec of Education who has zero experience with education?
A man whose family had an emerald mine and a man whose family had a real estate empire talking about a "pure meritocracy" is so rich it would be side splittingly funny if they weren't doing active damage to our nation.

Look at that government efficiency: https://bsky.app/profile/adamisacson.com/post/3li5h6v4w422x

$27000 for a military flight per person deported to India. Why not just put them on a commercial jet? Just absolute idiocracy.
We aren’t living under a President whose intention isn’t good government but under a psychopathic, narcissistic playwright whose intention is to create a theatrical hit. It’s all about appearances, attention, and applause. He’s a chaos conductor. We all met him in the Wizard of Oz, Trump and his band of monkeys.

Of course that only applies to people you disagree with.
The fundamental problem with assumed superiority is the inability to see one's own logical failures.

Projection at 100%. The right uses nothing but logical fallacy arguments. Completely dishonest at every turn.

Educate yourself, before it becomes illegal

I think you are honestly expressing your feelings here and I think also that because Democrats took a knee to the need for money to win elections they opened themselves to providing evidence for such branding.

In my opinion, then, it is money that has destroyed our democratic process, the brainwashing of voters you can buy with it, the fear you can spread among people to make them malleable with it for psychological reasons I have elucidated in great detail on this forum In the past.

But look where that frustration has got us. You are concerned about a hatchet and rationalize that as how government is? Haha. No conservative throws out the devil they know for an unknown one. You got radicalized and abandoned conservative principles and now we’re in for some shit. The billionaires are taking charge. You think you were fucked before……….. The looting has just begun.
