I have tried it with a 6700XT (XFX) and now a Gigabyte RX 6800 Master. I have tried it with a 5600X and a 5700X3D. I have tried different ram 32gb of DDR4 3200 mhz CL16, and 32 gb of DDR 3600 mhz CL16. I have tried the newest and older drivers with a fresh install each time. I have redone windows, full redo from scratch wiping out my "C" drive partition(s), and it all comes down with the same results:
CCC (Im old, ok and I cannot speel all to wells) when I go to launch the program, it takes ETERNITY for it to finally come up, and when it does 99% of the time it right away locks up. Sometimes if I click performance, and leave my mouse there, it will actually wake up and start acting "right" (after about 5 min of waiting), HOWEVER, now it will randomly lock up, and you cannot shut it down without having to go through task mgr and end task, can then FORGET ever opening it again, unless you restart the pc, and then back starting the whole process all over again.
This was happening on my 6700 xt so I upgraded to a 6800 (been wanting to and got a master one with the sweet LCD screen for $300 and sold my 6700 for $200 so $100 OOP to have this sweet sweet card, anyway) before and AFTER redoing windows, so there was ZERO left over to cause this.
This was happening with 3200 or 3600 mhz CL16 ram, even different makers and chips so Im ruling out ram 100%
I redid windows, I mean again, nothing left over, but same results acting up from the very moment it popped up.
My son has my old 5600X, 32gb of DDR 3200 CL18, and a RX 6600 (I guess at this point you can see I like AMD and Have way back in the ATi Days) and has zero problems, pops up right away, no lagging, no locking up, no having to restart his system.
Anyways, anyone else got any ideas?? Im not overclocking or underclocking/volting anything, but Im at my wits end, I cannot seem to think of what it can be for I've changed everything aside of my motherboard (TUF Gaming X570 Plus (WiFi)) and my SSD (WD Black SN850X 2TB) but this working fine till just one day out the blue started doing this, and its the ONLY program that I get grief with too, I have nothing else screwing up (see edit).
Yes all the drivers are installed, chipset, simbus, schoolbus, blah blah as well.
So what say you, what have I missed???? Only thing the same here is the same 6000 series family, but why it go from working just fine to this mess (kinda like what I been writing), I cannot think of anything else.

Now it turns out I cannot get MSI, FRAPS, W+G to show FPS they all just read 0. Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but it is something thats not just AMD related. So now what, why would I not be able to get it to report my FPS with anything??
