I'm member of a very liberal and international party here in Denmark, and I will openly admit that we have been to naive about uncontrolled immigration/refugees and how it affects our society as a whole. The problem with bigotry is that it rests on the association of two things, one that is true which gives power to the certainty of the bigoted belief. It is true that religious fanaticism is evil in the sense that fanatics do terrible things that nobody sane would allow them to get away with.
