In fact most EVs are more car oriented with lower ground clearance, like the Tesla 3 and Y, VW ID.3, ID.4, Hyundai Kona Electric, Ioniq 5, 6, Kia EV6, Niro, etc...

Having some with a bit more ground clearance is not a bad idea...

I meant all this plastic too, not just the fenders. Yeah I get it's subjective but the black cladding always looks like crap.

That's barely visible to me. Nice and understated, after seeing things like this:

And those low ground clearance models I listed before lack those thin strips of black if that bothers you so much. Lots of low ground clearance models without black plastic.

The black trim is just Rivian Style, even their $70K-$100K R1S has the same exact black trim. If you don't like Rivian Style elements. Don't buy a Rivian.

Before I saw a rivian in real life I was definitely hesitant the most about the headlights. I thought overall the design looked pretty cool and could probably look nice in real life, But the headlights were one of the uncertainties.

After seeing a rivian up close and personal, I thought they looked cool they fit with the whole aesthetic. Definitely see why it's not for everyone, But I dig it. They just make it work somehow.

My coworker has the first gen Rivian truck, he ordered it well before finalized production and took somewhat of a gamble. It had quite a few software updates, but nothing debilitating and he still loves it after a couple years of ownership. It really sets you back in the seat when he floors it. I think most buyers of EV's love being able to leave the ever prevalent monster trucks in their wake easily, if the 0-60 time was optimized at 8 seconds it would not give them any bragging rights.
