My wife and me are the complete opposite. I was a high wage earner for most of my aviation career so my salary deductions were also pretty high. My SSDI payments have made our mortgage payment and paid all of our utilities since we have been living in KY. Living in CT didn't allow for that because energy prices were so freaking high!I'm about there myself. Thankfully husband and I have never relied on SS to meet any of our monetary needs so it would be interesting to see if depriving a bunch of MAGAs of their SS payments would generate enough of a backlash to have an effect.
