It is also not clear the president explicitly authorized the strike. Which um seems like a problem.
Well practiced by authoritarian regimes throughout the world.Again, it's all projection with these twat waffles.
Makes me wonder howoblivioussenile he truly is.
Makes me wonder how oblivious he truly is.
Seems like we're going to end up with a Babylon 5/Nightwatch situation, where someone defies an action because "you must follow the chain of command". The VP cannot give an order. The DNI cannot give an order. And the president's ghoulish advisor, Miller, cannot give an order. It is also not clear the president explicitly authorized the strike. Which um seems like a problem.

They are succeeding in their plan though. They are trying to change the conversation to is the info REALLY classified and it's kind of working.
The Asia-Pacific region? Maybe at a cold water port in Kamchatka?Oh apparently Tulsi was out of the country while she was in the chat.

Not sure how well that's going to work when you have the secretary of defense literally stating in advance the time and place of an airstrike. They are succeeding in their plan though. They are trying to change the conversation to is the info REALLY classified and it's kind of working.
Time, place, weapon systems to be used... They think we're all idiots as they think they're being clever dancing around the questions. Not sure how well that's going to work when you have the secretary of defense literally stating in advance the time and place of an airstrike.
But they are incompetent white boys and that is normal and accepted in Trump's AmericaMagats will get our people killed
These low IQ dipshits aren't fit to run a 7-11, let alone a military and intelligence bureaus.
I feel so bad for our clandestine folks, Trump brings them nothing but embarrassment and death.
Doesn't change the facts, but I see more and more yelling about whether it's classified than what it actually was.Not sure how well that's going to work when you have the secretary of defense literally stating in advance the time and place of an airstrike.
There is so much to unpack on this story, I don't even know where to start.
This goes way beyond amateurville
Time, place, weapon systems to be used... They think we're all idiots as they think they're being clever dancing around the questions.
Someone intercepting those messages could have prepositioned air defenses. If I recall, predictability is what led to a successful takedown of an F117 stealth bomber over Serbia during the Clinton administration. Someone having this advanced knowledge could have tried to do the same.
Maybe we're reading different sources but I haven't seen much of this. What they seem to have settled on for the moment is that they were only 'attack plans' instead of 'war plans', which... is not going to work.Doesn't change the facts, but I see more and more yelling about whether it's classified than what it actually was.
Since you seem to think the reporter bears some responsibility (facts fall in the middle)I seriously don't believe either side in its entirety, I think the facts will fall somewhere in the middle.
I do hope that they investigate this completely and find out what the actual facts are. I do think they should be able to get a transcript of the discussion and if blame is to be found there should also be appropriate accountability of any party(s) that bear blame.
