Can't agree with that. With ample amount of gratitude, blessings are possible in this life too. But as I said, there are too many factors involved. Heck, someone could get cursed for something their ancestor did thousands of years ago. One can only pray and be patient for their prayer to be answered or die trying. I think that is the Christian way.
This idea of blessings and curses is nonsense. God / Jesus lay out the expectations and never guarantee worldly blessings of any kind, in fact they tell you the reward will be in heaven. Jesus speaks multiple times about what it means to follow him and the dangers of pursuing worldly possessions as a symbol of gods blessing
I think maybe you haven't read the bible? If not, give it a read….OT is wild, NT is wild but more hippie with a big scary ending
