Ukraine is producing more than 18 2S22 Bohdanas a month and looking to expand to 40 (or more) by using an additional chassis supplier.

They need to replace a vast amount of soviet caliber guns so this is good news. They could even end up selling them to other countries since IIRC they are very cost effective. Efforts to localize more ammunition production remain key for them though.

Some explosion, I wonder what they hit. They said debris was touching down 5km away. Any aircraft in the open that escaped the immediate blast probably still could have caught lots of damage from frag, chunks of runway and buildings. Well done AFU.

Putin losing more of his vintage, artisanal bombers and use of a base to cheap drones, that's great news for the whole world really.

I want to make it clear they aren't just talking about college age girls here.

General news of more ceasefire work this time regarding the Black Sea. Ukraine and Russia have agreed to lists of sites for the energy ceasefire which was already supposed to be in effect...so we'll see.

Deep Russian annoyance with Ukrainian strikes on their oil and gas infra quite apparent. A very successful program.

So far Zelensky seems ok. Ukraine has their own reasons to want a break too and they reserve the right to retaliate for any breach.

With Putin's long term goal of bending Western Europe's democracies to his will, he will never agree to any version of a "ceasefire" if it isn't to his advantage in this regard. I dare say he wouldn't agree to a deal even if a deal was mutually beneficial to both sides. With Trump being an obedient stooge of his, it doesn't seem likely that Putin would settle for anything less than a satisfying strategic advantage over Ukraine's fight for it's independence.

Looks like Trump wants a ceasefire a whole lot more than Zelenskyy and Putin so he can claim what a great statesman he is, although he's already claimed that title for himself anyway. He's stuck in the middle of a fight much like how a girl would referee a fight between two guys who claim rights to her charms.

Seems as if there is no practical way to end this war other than Putin giving up the fight and pulling his troops out and that will never happen unless something drastic changes the balance of power in that conflict, like Trump suddenly dying of natural causes. So long as Putin has Trump cowering in his shadow, there's not much reason for Putin to agree to any scenario where he comes out with less than what he's taken up to this point in time.

I see it as an opportunity for Putin to put on a show and manipulate Trump into giving Russia weapons and intelligence on Ukraine.
The cease fire is going to break and Trump is going to deepthroat the false flag bigly. Tulsi will also be sure that the intelligence info he gets paints exactly that narrative.

Sure but Ukraine will certainly make their own preparations as well. It's not a free lunch for the Kremlin.

I have been watching this YouTube channel for a while now. No Idea how accurate the info is. They used to show footage by the bots complained. Sometimes I get the feeling that Ukraine has Russia on the ropes but they have way more meat to sacrifice.

Unclear if this is an accurate representation of the "minerals deal" but if so I think the odds the Ukrainian parliament approves it to be rather low.

Feels mostly like Zelensky is playing for time right now.

Ukraine is also receiving arms and vehicles still under aid granted by Biden. Once most of the USAI contracts are fulfilled there will be little reason for them to listen to the US about much. So stretching things out is the best play for now.
