The only part of this I take issue with is the speeding part. I'm a white guy and I've been pulled over for doing 61 in a 55 in VT, 63 in a 55 in ME before. Just saying. But, short of that, ugh. Releasing a traumatized women in the woods, at night, alone. Wow. I hope I got the story right, he jumped around a bit. Regardless, real bunch of heroes those BP twats. Here's an audio Interview by the Globe and Mail(Canada's NYT) regarding Water Rights treaty discussion between the US/Canada. Part of it discusses Trump's Canada "Tap"(Columbia River). In itself it is interesting/informative about that, including some history of cooperation. Worth a listen, has a PBS/Informative quality of coverage.

Something troubling in it is a description of a change in attitude between Canadian/US Scientists. Allegedly US Scientists are being told not to discuss or meet at conferences with their Canadian counterparts like they used to do routinely before. A glimpse behind the scenes.

Even the company i used to worked for (technology with no secret clearance required); would use disposable equipment when folks traveled to either China or Russia with the understanding their devices would be compromised down to the firmware.
