So a friend of mine needed some CDs burned, and I dug out an old CD duplicator I had from years ago, a Primera Bravo Pro Xi2.
After a bit of recalibration, new ink cartridge, and a burner replacement, it's working fine. HOWEVER, when the printer is running I get this weird electrical "heat" smell - somewhere in between the "hot dust" odor I get when my furnace vents need to be cleaned, and the hot plastic / ozone odor from the slot cars I had as a kid. I don't remember the printer making this smell before.
Wondering if anybody else has experienced something similar, and if I should be worried? Like I said, printer's working fine otherwise.
