I can't find accurate numbers for Mexico or Canada. Is that 10% since 10% seems to be the baseline??

BTW Russkies seem exempt from tariffs.. anyone find that odd?

Looks like it for Australia... 10% tariff.... which matches our GST (Good and Services Tax).

I thought he said he was imposing a 10% tariff as "baseline", i.e. a minimum for everyone. UK also is getting 10% (though our VAT is 20%). Don't really understand how a blanket 10% tariff as a minimum counts as "reciprocal" as his chart was titled. But very little Trump does makes any sense, because he's demented.

No existing tariffs from "fentanyl" are still in place but mostly paused via USMCA compliance for the moment. Any sectoral (metals, lumber, etc) tariffs still apply to them too.

Par for the course.

I had a very retail therapy free January - but starting in February when the Trump/Musk shitshow was fully ramped up, I mean, I lost some discipline for certain habits, and one was retail therapy. I mean I am regretful of the amount of debt I accrued but I am happy that I'm done shopping and got all this shit at relatively normal prices. Two Kobo e-readers, gaming mice, a few pairs of Altra sneaks, Sonos speakers, high end PC case, and some high tech fabric clothing. Fucking silver linings I guess to the very fabric of our world being torn apart by a couple of raging narcissistic and racist idiots.

Didn't expect Americans to make Herbert Hoover and the 1930s great again! But here we are, same policy.

The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act
Signed into law in 1930, raised import duties on a wide range of goods, intended to protect American farmers and businesses, but ultimately worsened the Great Depression by triggering retaliatory tariffs and significantly reducing global trade

Largest tax hike in US history, issued [illegally] by executive fiat through a fake emergency.

Anyone know any direct importers that want to sue (to guarantee standing)?

In spite of Trump's unwarranted idiocy, I and the vast majority of Canadians have no issue with the average US citizen.

Please feel free to come and visit Canada and enjoy some of the best tourism in the world. Your dollar goes farther here and were appreciate your patronage. Tourism is one part of our economy that needs a major expansion.

No matter what season you prefer, we have a lot to offer you.

Thanks Chucky and ten feckless Dems that helped codify this tariff power more to Trump and took away your recourse.

You should all fucking resign in shame. All of those 10-11 Dems. Resign. You are fucking traitors, or at best, too fucking stupid to hold a Senate seat.
