I dont know what the future holds...but looking at how the options market makers priced tomorrow's reaction...they seriously got it wrong:

The QQQs closed at 476. Right now futures have the QQQs at 455 (-$20.85).

One call option expiring tomorrow would have cost $7.27 and one put option cost $2.09..... a market rally was seen as inevitable. THEY WERE WRONG!

I will definitely be taking a look at what puts pay tomorrow. But not much longer and the market will have been trading sideways ~10-15% off its highs with no good news on the horizon I feel like we're due another big push down and then it will be time to load up on those or buy some cheaper calls.

Speaking of trading floors why does anyone actually go there? Must be the pointless RTO...

Honestly, I think there is no bottom for at least a year or two.

Probably just flat to lower with crazy dead cat bounces....until companies find a way to adapt.

Almost everything was hit today (but stocks in Mexico and some of South America). My portfolio was under my goal value of small company stocks. But, they were just too expensive for me to get more of them. The small stocks finally were hit and were hit the hardest today. That is where I am looking to invest once everything settles down (VTMSX). Plus maybe a bit of the Pacific (VPADX). But I never catch falling knives. I think there will be plenty of time to get into these in the coming weeks.

Given inflation and the total value of the market, it's inevitable. Percentagewise, it's very far off from the worst days (Although the Trump one from March 3rd 2020 is 3rd percentagewise in history). Trump actually also has the top 5 best days nominally, but percentagewise his best is just 9th.

If The Man knew what I did back then... you would have been going to the office regardless of The Rona. This is correcting that mistake.
