I searched but couldn't find video of it, but there are myriad sources explaining. Here's NBC's story on Bill Owens resignation, etc.We need to develop a national boycott tableau in resistance to the depredations of this federal administration. Make commercial entities fear the consequences of them caving into Trump's nefarious machinations. Paramount should be right up there if they water down 60 Minutes.
There's an article right now on front page of online New York Times about 60 Minutes airing their worry about Paramount influencing the program. Says that Scott Pelley explained this right on the program Sunday night. They didn't give a date for some reason (i.e. was that tonight or last Sunday?). I watched tonight's program and didn't see that. I turned it off at 7:53PM, which is usually the point where nothing of interest ensues. Maybe Scott came on after the ensuing commercial break and made a statement and I missed it. I suppose that's what happened.
