Awesome. My Corrado has 250 000 Kilometres on it and it still drives wickedly. Kind of an expansive car to maintain but its well worth it. Enjoy.

What songs can you NOT listen to?

Hero by Chad Kroeger and Josie Scott from the Spiderman soundtrack. During the course of a day at work I hear that song roughly 3 to 4 times. I cant stand it.

How do you make your facial hair grow faster?

Mine seems to grow thicker if I grow it out for a month or so then shave it. I have done that a few times and it has worked. Sure it looks dirty, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I had problems growing the "connectors" but after a few times of growing it out for long periods of time they...

I believe you need the ATI patch. You can get it here I had the exact same situation, and that fixed it

First of all, thats a stellar rig d00d. ;) And you should be getting higher than that in 3D Mark 2K1, seems to be me you could be hitting high 7000's, low 8000's !!

Timerefresh isnt really a constant fps command To get fps and latency graph, type net_graph 1 in console To get just fps, type cl_showfps 1

PC133 or DDR

It really depends on the chipset also. KT133A is as fast as some of the first DDR chipset's (AMD 760/761, ALi MagiK), but the new KT266A simply blows the KT133A away. If you have a SiS 735 chipset, than it is probably best to go DDR, has its faster and more future proof.

"built in LAN" simply means that the K7S5A has a 10/100 Ethernet Card built right into the mobo, so you dont have to buy the actual PCI card

Definately go with the ECS K7S5A. It has onboard LAN and Audio. I have built two Duron-based systems each containing this mobo and both have been rock solid. And go with DDR, there is a big enough performance increase over SDR to warrant it's purchase.

Rebuilding tonight

The best back-up method would probably be Norton Ghost. You could Ghost your old HDD, then just boot from it and restor everything on to your new HDD without losing a thing.

In your oppinion who makes the best GF3 TI Card

Elsa and the Gladiac line. Great card, with a great warranty. Plus, it probably has the best 2D out of all the others (maybe not Gainward) I have a Gladiac 920 and love it

I was just wondering if the Via 4 in 1's have to be installed under WinXP if running a Via Chipset. I currently dont have them installed, and my XP is running prime, but I was just wondering if I would get more performace using the 4 in 1's. BTW - I have the KT133A chipset

I just beat Wolfenstein today, and was surprised by how short it was !!. It took me a little over 5 hours to beat the game, and I wasnt rushing through it either. I took my time to explore many of the boards and found quite a bit of the hidden areas and treasure. Anyone else think this game was...

Anyone know how to get into

You shouldnt even have to cheat on MP, that game is too easy. Unless youre planning to beat the game on every difficulty setting, and dont want to worry about your health, etc, I can understand. But that game is just TOO easy !!

GeForce 3 problems in Win2k

1. You install the latest Via 4 in 1's ??? (4.32 I believe, the agp fix is also intergrated within that set of drivers) 2. Are u running the 12.90's or the 12.41's ?? I got a 600 point boost from switching to the 12.90's. Dont forget your processor is a bit of a bottleneck

Cable spiking, fixable ???

The cable modem I have is a TeraPro, Model Number TCM200. Its manufactured by Terayon Communication Systems. My ISP is Shaw @Home Do you think applying the patch helped me ? It seems to have smoothed out all the jitters, but I still get an occasional few.
