Headphone hookup question

Thanks for the replys. I had the sennheiser headphone hooked up to the cable box and they worked great. I could turn up the volume on the headphones for me and it wouldn't be to loud for the rest of the room, but they wouldn't work with this setup for watching a DVD since the cable box wasn't...

Headphone hookup question

I have a home theater set up. Cable to cable box, HDMI out to Sony DH800 receiver and HDMI out to TV. Everything feeds in/out of the receiver. Is there a way to hookup headphones to the back of the receiver? Thanks in advance.

BSOD help

I went ahead and did the windows update version. It looks to be an older version then what Dell shows on its update page.It has been four hours and its still plugging away with no BSODs. Everything is updated so we will see what happens. Thanks again for the help.

Reboot loop on Dell

Reboot loop on Dell

Dell Inspiron 1200 help

If the electrical plug in and the battery out, it should power up. I have another Dell that I leave the battery off to preserve it and just leave it connected to wall outlet. I am thinking the motherboard is faulty but just wanted to confirm with someone else.

Stretch wallpaper with dual monitors

I tried the display fusion. I says its running in the back ground but I couldn't get it to launch to adjust the wallpaper. My monitors aren't the same size so I couldn't get the dual monitor backgraounds to work either. Not a big deal, just wanted to play around with it. Thanks for the posts

I need some help. I tried to change over from outlook express to outlook. When I normally booted up all I had set up was administrator. When I rebooted, I added a user and administrator disappeared. Now I can't find my old emails when I try to import. Can someone tell me how to fix this. Thanks

It looks like intel has drivers for everything. I was just concerned about the compatibility with software. Also I don't think most anti virus programs have a 64 bit version.

I have a Sandisk Micro thumb drive and just upgraded to Vista. Now when I use my thumb drive it works fine but when I go to safely remove it, it says safe to remove but the light is still on. Is there a fix for this anywhere? Thanks

Safely Remove Sandisk in Vista

When I click safely remove my Micro Cruzer it says its safe to remove but the light on my thumb drive stays on. Is there a fix for this somewhere? I'm using Vista. It worked great in XP. Thanks

Clean install with upgrade?

Well I reloaded xp and then installed the vista upgrade. I don't think the wipe is the same as a format but the process is done. Everything seems to work correctly except my USB thumbdrive will not power off when you click safely remove. I'm sure I can do a search and find a fix for this. Thanks...

I looked thru the OS forums and got alittle confused. I want to upgrade from XP Pro to Vista and have read a clean install is the way to go. Is there a way to do a clean install with an upgrade DVD by booting from it twice and entering the key on the second install?

I went ahead and tried the jumper in the maintenance setting like you suggested and that did the trick. I was able to get back into the memory portion and put it back to auto. Thanks for all the help.

Yeah I found these also. I don't have a floppy just DVD RW. I'm not sure how to make a bootable CD and the instructions just aren't real clear. I saw that easy cd creator has a utlity but again I don't have that program.
