That will not work. I have gone to that page and downloaded the hotfix listed. Without the ability to boot to anything but the windows install disk, i have no way of installing the hotfix.

No ... no matter what when booting off of the hard drive the error message comes up. I can never get the screen where I could put in Administrator and administrator password. Any trick to getting that screen to come up?

Well IMHO Raid Re-constructor is just about worthless. After buying the software I found that it really just puts together files that you MIGHT be able to get back. You have to pay another $99 to actually get the files. That's $198 for nothing , the solutions you all gave me, for free, worked...

Raid 0 Recovery Help

I have downloaded, and run, raid re constructor (TRIAL) from their Runtime Boot CD. It was able to see the drives and gave a solution to the rebuild. Before I buy the Raid re constructor software, Has anyone used it ? Does it come with a boot CD option ?

I have a one year old backup of this array done with these drives on a external hard drive. I was done with Acronis True Image. Do you think I would be able to get the meta data file off of that backup ? Or does it build a new one as it restores the system ?

I was able to recover everything (it was all there) as several of the above posters have stated the profile was corrupted. I was able to copy all of the DBX, Picture and what not over to the new profile and I've got 99.9% of my computer back. Thanks all. The only program I cannot get to work...

Windows 7 Beta anyone??

Biggest problem Ihave with it is that it won't work with my ASUS A7N8X motherboard network card and Nvidia has no plans to provide MF2 drivers for Windows 7. It runs fine on my AMD athlon XP2500+ . I think it's a step up from Vista .. But I can't surf with it so the Jurys out on that one ..

90% of it is iTunes store stuff :( I'm going to try and put one of the drives in a fire-wire case and see if iTunes will work with that. If it does work then I must have a VIA bus compatability problem. My other plan of attack is to move the files back over to my other computer burn...

Memorex drive works with everything else. I installed Nero 7 smart suite that came with one of the new drives. Nero 6 did not have a problem. As i said before the Nero problem is an easy fix. I've had 4 drives in and none are working with iTunes. It's not the drives.
