DVD rom/Ipod problem :(

Hey guys, I'm having a huge problem with my new ipod and itunes. I load up all the correct software and start ripping cd's to my itunes library. I'll get through like 8 or 9 cd's, and all of a sudden itunes will freeze, and after i get it closed out, my DVD rom drive is no longer recognized...

Fan Question

I asked a few weeks ago, but lost the link so i'll ask again. Anyone know where i can get an extender for my fan? I can't plug it into anything as it's about and inch or two short. So if anyone knows where i can get one, it would be much appreciated.

I'm about to buy the Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS. Will i have any problems with using it on an Abit IC7-G mobo? I use my maching mostly for gaming, and i heard this card is awesome. Any thoughts?

IC7-G Questions

Couple quick questions. I've got an abit IC7-G mobo. When my computer boots up, it goes to a screen where it says it's looking for my raid setup. I'm not using a raid setup, so after 15 or so seconds, it says not found and finishes the boot up. What do i do so it doesn't look for that? Not...

FSB Question

Thanks a bunch guys, you were right. I've got them set up in slots 1 and 2, but for dual channel they're supposed to be in either 1 and 3 or 2 and 4. I appreciate your guys' quick responses, that's why i love anandtech!

well i have an abit ic-7 g max 2, and i've got them right next to eachother in the top 2 slots. What are the advantages of having it in dual channel?

thanks for your quick replys monkey. Yes i do have 2 sticks of 512. Why would it not show up as dual channel? Can i go into my bios and fix that? lol, as you can see, i'm still learning when it comes to computers :(

FSB Question

It says my FSB is 200.5 and my BUS speed is 800.2 Mhz. Is that would it should say? It's also telling me that my Ram is single channel. Shouldn't corsair xms pc 3200 be dual channel?

Fan extension?

Hi guys, my front case fan won't reach to my motherboard to plug it in. Anyone know where i can get an extender to add on to my plug so it can reach the mobo? I need about another 2 inches give or take.

Need a new fan!!!

I'm looking to put another fan into my antec slk3700bqe, and i was wondering witch one i should get. What's the best fans out there? My rig is a p4 2.8, 9800 pro, abit mobo(875), 1 gig corsair xms 3200. I'm using it almost exclusively for gaming. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Any suggestions?

Thanks for all the advice guys. I think i'm going to go with the Antec Sonata. Two questions though. It only comes with 1 120cm fan right? And if it does, should i buy another 120cm fan for the intake? If so, do any of you have a suggestion on a good fan. Thanks for all your help.

Case Help?

The reason that i want a 420 psu is because i've been told by many people that it's a good idea to get atleast 420psu if your making a rig primarily for gaming. I dunno, i'd rather be safe then sorry unless that is a completely wrong statement. Anyways, everyone thinks Antec makes the best cases?
