Update Moto G from Android 4.4.4 to 5.1?

I've done it on my XT1028 WiFi toy. No factory reset needed. Everything went smoothly. Battery life is crazy good, though it was on 4.4.4 as well.

Lower the gauge the thicker the cable. Thicker cables have lower resistance. For many modern phones, there's a charging rate difference.

For what it's worth, the cables that come with LG phones (ie. G2, G3) have 20AWG power cables. I guess that doesn't help too much since you're looking for extension type.

I signed up to try with a 6P. I live in kind of a weird area. Between T-Mobile and Sprint, most of the area around here is covered. For my kids, 1 school is Sprint, the other is T-Mobile. Home is Sprint. AT&T doesn't work at all, and Verizon is hit and miss. Fingers crossed. :P

Bean Heads, what's your top coffee?

Have you tried Tanzania peaberry? Very similar to the Kenya AA (next country over), though lower in acidity. It's usually roasted a bit lighter as well. Kenya AA used to be my go-to bean, but I've switched over. Tasty stuff. :)

The G3 is physically 2.94 wide vs 2.79 on the G2. That's just .15" apart. The G3's 5.5" screen is 2.7" wide. The G2's 5.2" screen is 2.55" wide. That's the same .15" width difference. Seems the same width to me.
