*UPDATED x2* Potentially hot, potentially cold. Blockbuster to drastically change rental rates.

I love my local grocery store - 99 cents per day DVD rentals - their selection isn't huge, they just basically stock all the new releases and as they get a few months old move them into the "old" section, which is 49 cents per day. Great for ppl like me who try to avoid going to the movies.

burn mark speaker I just hope nothing in the PSU is shorted - anyone know how to bench test one w/ a multimeter? I can't hook up the computer yet because I took of the heatsink and can't find any heatsink grease.

I was fixing a box and turned it on to test the PSU to make sure it was still good - within 2 seconds the red/black wires going to the internal speaker were glowing orange and the speaker itself started smoking. It was magnetically attached to the bottom of the case. Any ideas on how/why this...

thought about it too, but with the fact that you can get 15GB personal MP3 players for less than $200 now it seems to be more cost/trouble than it's worth... if you're going to buy a new head unit anytime soon get one with a line-in on the faceplate so you can hook up your MP3 player directly...

At a glance, what are the differences between 2001 Maxima and Maxima SE?

2000 would be the first year of the 5th Gen Maxima so theoretically latter years should have some of the initial "bugs" worked out if there were any... Manuals are always cheaper to replace/repair than auto's, butif there were no known flaws with the auto I wouldn't make that my #1 criteria...
