sdifox, not sure i understand your response and it didn't answer my question.
i never said i wouldn't pay or report my income/taxes.
it's simply a question of whether i would do the taxes myself or outsource it.
my question still remains.
if i wanted to start my own youtube channel or my own ebay store and i make money from those endeavors, when it comes time to do taxes, would my tax accountant (hypothetically, let's say H&R Block) see what kinds of videos i produce or what products i sell? thanks.
Hi, I'm trying to figure out what this USB cable goes to. It came with something I bought a while back but not sure what. There is a logo on it and if someone could tell me what brand it is, I can probably figure out what the device was. Thanks!
alright, thanks guys. i personally use Teracopy but since there are a lot of large raw files i was hoping for a more intelligent way... but i guess the OS can't do that.
thanks!
is there an easy way to tell Win 7 i want to move my files and folders one directory up (w/o actually copying/pasting the files)?
Current folder structure

PICTURES --> PLACES --> HOME --> actual pictures

sorry to hear all that Trident... don't give up, persevere, and one day I'm sure you'll get to a better place in life! i consider myself blessed that my life is good... perfect? no. sure, there's stress and time constraints, but still good in many many ways. just keep your eye on the goal and...
If the company really needs more IT people, ask your manager to hire more. In most cases, it comes down to if the company has the money or not.
In which case, they should reallocate money from another department (say not rehiring an HR position or finance position) and take the money that...
i recently removed my door so i could paint it and the frame without getting paint on the hinges. but, when i tried to put the hinges back on, only 1 would stay. the other two the holes seem bigger than the screws.
weird thing is, i don't know how they stayed on there before... maybe wood...
looking at the company's income statement:
1) they're definitely making money from what they sell but...
2) their operating expenses increased greater than their gross profit, so lower net profit
3) which could be a reason for their stock coming back down?
also, does anyone know how they...
got to go to sleep but what the heck, here goes:
looking at OCZ, have one of their drives and i think SSDs will be more common in the future (just a guess).
when looking at their Income Statement, while they're making gross profit, they're losing money after all is said and done. do people...
i tried a power spray, professional grade, and wasn't great at it.
so, switched back to traditional paint rollers... great results but it taks a looooong time.
i'm like Indy... i did great but took me a long time so i hired-out part of the painting for quicker results.
congrats man and...
thanks all! my 24-70 has served me well and i noticed it had appreciated in price last year but i checked a couple days ago and it's back down a bit. in the meantime, like you all said, my camera body 40D has gone down.
RobDickinson, you seem to know a lot about the technical aspects of a...
thanks for all the input guys. the 24-70 has been a good walk-about lens... although i do wish the new version would have IS (but it's rumored not to). in that case, i'll just keep the one i have. thanks!
thanks!
so assuming the new version is just as good or better than the current (say, for a lens), then I'd want to sell it now before price drastically drops, and then pick up the new one when it comes out.
when a new camera version comes out (e.g. 5d mark iii) or a new lens version comes out (e.g. 24-70 f2.8 ii), what typically happens to the prices of the previous versions?
i guess this probably depends on how they price the new versions, but i'm not sure how Canon has traditionally done that...
on the way back from getting breakfast i saw an owl get a squirrel and fly up to a tree... thought to myself: wish i had a camera with me! might have to start looking for a cheap used one to keep in the car.
OP i'm so sorry to hear about that! that is scary, along with theprodigalrebel's story... will say a prayer for you and all who were affected by the young man's passing away.
this sounds a bit funny, but i can't get ZoomBrowser Ex (v. 6.7.2.33) to zoom when i'm viewing Raw CR2 files. i want to see the image at it's original resolution... my monitor resolution is maxed-out at 1680x1050.
does anyone know why i can't? thanks!
thanks for the the tips guys! i will try them out.
when i bought my place it only came with one remote... i'll try the other tips before buying a second transmitter. thx
my Genie garage door opener works when using the wall panel to open/close.
when trying to use the remote, it doesn't work. i've replaced the batteries and still nothing.
so, who do i call to have this checked out? i don't know if sears/lowes/HD will come out just to take a look at it. do i...
good evening fine ladies and gents!
do any of you who don't keep their best camera with them all the time have a spare in their car at all times (just in case so you can get a shot)?
if so, what kinds of cool things have you photographed that you weren't planning to?
(i realize this...
wow, the first one was "interesting" and the second one looked fun.
unfortunately not those two either... i'm going to take the "french" part out cuz i could be wrong on that. thanks for trying!
